VectorSatyr
Dispite my lack of knowledge about MMF, I'm pretty sure it wasn't that hard to port. Still, a MMF version of Sonic Dash sounds awesome... unless those are mockups... or there in GM, and I don't recognize the desktop theme... MidimanNull
1.) GM 2.) Royale. I seriously need to use the screenshot feature more

Aaron C-T
Looks awesome, Midi. Sega really needs to bring back the shields. Let me rephrase that: they need to bring back the shields with all their functions.
xhedgehogx
The water shield was fun.
Aaron C-T
Yea, as was the flame shield. And yet those idiots constantly give us the shield that does absolutely nothing. At least they kept the electric shield.. but it doesn't even do the spark thing when you press A in midair. =/
Gradient
Having found a fantastic collection of particle systems for GM6.1, I'm going to have a go at creating a couple of elemental shields for my Advance game. Lightning and fire, obviously - any other ideas? Water might be a tad difficult (it would look a bit naff, mainly), but it'd be cool to throw some more shield-types into the mix. xhedgehogx
Gradient,I have a few ideas. Gravity shield: Lower gravity. Transporter shield: Transport yourself through walls. Cloak shield: Make yourself invisible from enemies. Gun shield: Shoot things at enemies. Anti-grav shield: Walk on cielings. The list can go on lol
Gradient
Anti-grav? Christ, I'd have to have a think about that. I won't be going with the gun shield - I want the elemental shields to modify your attack. Good ideas though.
VectorSatyr
I have plenty of ideas, but I'm only going to lend you the ones I'm not going to use. (anti-gravity is one of them) Bomb shield: Like the bomb capsule in Sonic Adventure, but it can be saved. Just double tap A to activate the effect. You lose the shield afterwards. Can block giant lazers. Moon shield: Cliche, yes, but it works. Decreases jump speed and increases jump height. Spindash damage is halved, though. Sun shield: The exact opposite of the moon shield (spindash power increased, but jump height decreased). Can pierce tougher enemies with spindash (pass through). Spindashing creates a fire steam behind sonic that also damages enemies.

Spindash damage is halved, though.lol, that wsa my idea with the gravity shiled to lower gravity for yourself. Except I didn't think of the spindash part.Great minds think a like? My mind is greater though. Ooo. Just thought of another shield. Not an everyday use shield though, idea came from megaman battle network. Digital Shield: Ability to go into a computer console(go into a mini stage, find an exit of several that will lead you out of there, each exit leads to a different place). Kind of a bizzare shield. Gradient
Hmm, how about a gravity shield that attracts everything to you that isn't nailed down - rings, enemies, etc. Grab rings easily, but you have to be on your toes... I don't want the shields to be too specialised - just a handful which differentiate enough from each other.
xhedgehogx
The ideas for shields are endless lol. Like make a shield simialr to master chief's (halo). Self recharging. Or one that will make you fly. You should make a seperate thread for this.

sonic101
IMHO the sonic head icon for the lives counter is way to big. it should be shrunken down a little bit, it draws my eyes to it the second i look at each screenshot, if i were playing through it'd prolly have the same effect and other people like me with easily distracted minds would prolly keep dieing becuase of it. you should shrink it just a tad.
