Guest Shadix
It sounded more like they just changed the melody up a bit, using different intervals... If they did do a key change though it didn't sound that bad.
Serephim
Not to get slammed with Prop 21 again, but i cant BELIEVE they diddnt FORCE Crush 40 to do this. And i cant believe Crush 40 actully made me like All Hail Shadow. It was a horrible track, but at least it was better than the other ones they stuck on that game's soundtrack. Edit: I seriously think Jun is THE best Electric Gutiar player ive heard, like ever. (Hes the one who actully gave me tolerance and eventually loving of the insturment.) He actully made me WILLINGLY listen to the Star Spangled Banner.
Zonar Games
Does anyone know where I can download the Crush 40 version of His World? I could'nt find it on Shadow of a Hedgehog. I seriously need to hear this song.
Guest Shadix
Sereph: There is a whole world of guitar you probably haven't been exposed to yet. Even Snappleman on OCRemix can put up the bite of Jun Senoue.
Aaron C-T
Ehh.. I dunno.. it sounds cool but at the same time all that was in the preview was an instrumental and the one in the background of Zebrahead's version wasn't broken. >.>
Blyde
SoaH has all tracks up now. Including the official OST. The OST has the E3 2006 version of His World. Yeah, go get it, because it's amazing. Also an instrumental of My Destiny as a hidden bonus...but weird, no hidden instrumentals for the other 3 vocal songs...:< This soundtrack is great <

Ligar
@Sereph True enough. Crush 40, should have done "His World" from the beginning. That or they should've just kept the same friggin music from the trailer and just add lyrics to it. What's wrong with that??

Zonar Games
Hey you're right this CD is good. Crush 40's version is great but the chorus is not as good as Zebrahead's version.

Slingerland
Hey you're right this CD is good. Crush 40's version is great but the chorus is not as good as Zebrahead's version. I lol'd. Both versions come in with an explosive craptacularness. Can I just say that: Rapping + Rock=usually bad. You go, Scott Ian and Flava Flav. Both choruses are laughable. Zebrahead has HIS WUUUUUUUUUUUUURLD. Crush 40s sounds like its impotent, off-key younger brother. Needs more of this:
Blyde
Not even Crush 40 could save His World. Which is the most overglorified song in Sonic 2006. The instrumentals pwn the vocal ones bad. The topic title should be changed to "9 versions of His World." Because...that's how many appear across both soundtracks. Zonar Games
Ok, I'll get the Old pack and I'll add grinding, except it in a couple hours (should do some stuff first). I think Gorillaz & Linkin Park does a good job with mixing the two.
VectorSatyr
Would I be considered crazy for saying that I like the original version more than all the other versions, EVEN the instrumentals? o_O

Aaron C-T
I never really saw anything wrong with the rapper from Zebrahead. It's only the chorus that's kinda "ehh."
VectorSatyr
Not even the chorus, for me.
