Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD is an unofficial fan remake of the 1992 SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive classic Sonic the Hedgehog 2 using up to date graphics with a few new novelty features here and there.

 

 

The graphics have been completely remastered in pure HD. Also new features planned were online multiplayer, playable Knuckles, and a few extra levels.

 

 

 

It looks fantastic and it plays fantastic. It's one of the best fan games I have played. It's really a shame that it was cancelled. It had a lot of potential.

After that little fiasco I'd figured Sonic 2 HD is the next Sonic 2006.

It doesn't violate any but if you think there's gonna be a finished product, there's not. The project's cancelled after the fiasco involved with Sonic 2 HD.

Funny thing is, when I first booted it up it woudn't load up anything. I booted it up again and it was fine and dandy. Wonder what was wrong with it?

Don't worry, even though it says that it most likely doesn't, I've tried S2HD before so you can trust me!
