Andrew Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 SoR's jumping was unique. If you jump and then hold left or right, the character would slowly move in that direction, very slowly picking up speed. If you're moving and jump, you'd lift off the ground with that amount of speed and still be able to steer your character kinda. Zonar Games Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 in Game Maker 6 for question one? and you could probalyy do something like if Sonic is a certain distance away from a flipper and jump key pressed then the rest of the code for making the flipper spring up?
