Asuma
So, Let's say I have a character I model in 3ds max or some 3d package. What would be the best way to render these and 'convert' them to sprites? Single animation or or a seq of images? I think there's programs that does this for you. Basically I want to attempt to do something Streak has done in th past. I guess like Sonic Rush in a way.
hRook
More like Donkey Kong Country. Rush actually used models right?

Zephyr
I got this, but never got around to using it. Looks impressive though. http://www.d-grafix.com/?page=spriteforge
Streak Thunderstorm
I basically took a left view of the model and rotated to 3/4ths. Then I rendered the model, resized it and then sprited on top.
Asuma
Ah, I thought it was type of renderer.
Streak Thunderstorm
Nope. Being a competent artist is still required for something to look decent.
