Bug at high speed

Of course, the system isn't perfect and if you use high speed values it'll get through walls and stuff of the like. I've got to test engine stability up to 20, but 16 or 17 is an optimal maxium value.

Really? I think I've put it up to 32 or so before I experienced any major fall-throughs or sticking. Although it depends on what objects Sonic is running on.

Well, there's a way to increase the stability but may also cause slowdowns. The system consists on dividing the Sonic motion logic in various substeps, limiting the amount of pixels it can move on each substep. That way we take out collision errors and make a solid enigne. However, there's some complexity inherent to this, that's why I only made it to the GM engine. I even got able to make Sonic run at the speed of light in game units XD.
