Sonic Ahltetics Annouced at SEGA Joyoplis

So SEGA announced another Sonic-branded game (read:attraction) which by the looks of it, is exclusive to Japan at the company's Joyopolis place.

Sonic Athletics is a new game which is opening at SEGA 's Tokyo Joypolis on April 25th. Players can choose one of eight characters available: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Blaze, Metal Sonic, Shadow and Sliver. The goal is to sprint to the finish and of course (no pun intended) first one there is the winner.

Players will have to run on treadmills placed in front of giant screens, the faster the player runs, the faster the chosen character on screen will.

 

And just when you thought it was another main series game. Oh SEGA you rascals~

It would be cool to play that. Still can't believe people thought this would be the next Sonic game. XD I would take the Silver spot of the game. Silver's the best! What can I say? BTW, I do feel rather sad about having no export.
