  1. This is showing real promise. The level layouts are pretty solid but suffer from lots of invisisble floors/walls. You need to mix up the graphics more. You've just taken a stage's graphics and rearranged the tiles. Try and add something new otherwise we'll just be playing through the same looking stages again. The engine is well built though. It makes exploring the stages good fun but you need to stop the bug which stops monitors popping when you run into them. Only jumping on them should break them. The big thing that bugs me is the fact it's an Ashura game. Couldn't it just be Sonic? I wouldn't even mind if it was Shadow.
  2. Looking good, love the sprite-set you're using. Just in case you haven't seen it yet, when your Super Sonic, Sonic reverts to his blue sprite when you push objects. Can't wait to see a full stage. Oh, it's spelt freeware
  3. Aww looking forward to Christmas? Seriously though, great looking game. Quite a few others have attempted the old 'Sonic 1 with new graphics' formula and I like how shiny and laminated everything looks. With a solid engine this will be an interesting project and definately more epic and less 'dipped in mud' than Sonic Rebirth.
  4. Like the visual style; bright and vibrant. However, 2 things are bugging me in the 1st screenshot: 1) The grass needs to be green, it looks horrible with that nasty shade of cyan. 2) Make the shadows on the hub letters darker and not white. Looks quickly ripped.
  5. I just finished filling in the questionnaire. Quite detailed, I hope my input helps.
  6. You still exist! What have you been doing since the release of Sonic Time Attacked? Most probably laughing like a mad man that you're the only person EVER to finish a fangame I loved this. I've always loved your games. Short, sharp and to-the-point. Looks great, plays nicely and was a nice suprise. Keep up the good work and hows about you finish Sonic The Fast Revelation?
  7. Good effort. I like the pace, it feels like I have proper control over Sonic because the game doesn't resort to the 'hold-right' school of Sonic gaming. However, the music doesn't match particularly well with the graphical style. I think the Green Hill stage could use a little work to make it look more original and I'm not too keen on the background for Desert Hill. I'm really against the forced-full-screen. An option to have the game windowed would be nice. Otherwise a good playing game and a good start.
  8. Loving the look of this game, it has a real Sonic CD vibe to it (always a good thing). PLEASE release a demo soon, it's hard to get excited about full releases without something to physically play.
  9. Funny you should talk about atmosphere cause I noticed the demo is very cinematic for a 2D Sonic fan game. That's not something you see often in a fan game that doesn't have proper, story-based cut-scenes (AKA the sort of stuff in the old Sonic The Fated Hour demos and Sonic Time Attacked). You should definately build on that cause its' the demos strongest point in my eyes. I've played through the demo quite a few times since last night and I'm really looking forward to the next release. It would be nice to actually complete a stage in the next demo!
  10. Great little demo, love the throwback to 8 bit Sonic gaming. The graphical style and control is spot on, shame you're using an old version of TGF (correct me if I'm wrong) cause this could really benefit from some loops to spice the stages up a little bit. Otherwise a solid start, hope to see more soon.
  11. Absolutely adore the graphical style. Always nicer to see a fangame that uses original graphics. It would be nice to see what it looks like with an original sprite for Sonic aswell but that's just me being picky. If I'm not mistaken, is this the same Sonic 360 that used to be a part of TK Games? The one with the tiny, little window and the demo which had a stage very similar to Hydrocity from Sonic 3? If it is, I always loved that little demo. Still got it on the laptop. If the engine is still similar to that, please make Sonic jump a little higher aswell. Thanks
  12. Thoroughly enjoyable little demo. Main criticisms being the lack of bounce when jumping on enemies, the enemies' death animation which isn't anything like the enemies when they are alive and the fact that nothing really attacks you. Otherwise a solid little action game. Is there going to be any weapons to use like in the original Shadow the Hedgehog? Blazefire made a nifty demo similar to what you are trying to achieve now. It is somewhat more tounge-in-cheek but it should interest you: http://fanmade.emulationzone.org/blazefire/index.php?content=game-shadow
