Highwire4
Gotta agree with Shin here. Money is not required to make a great game, or a game period. Time, vigilence, and patience do. Kickstarter would be a waste of time AND money. Not sure whats stopping you from at least making temporary graphics for the game or doodling up enemy designs your self until someone can replace your new vacancy spot though. OverbounD
Not to mention it takes lots of effort to run a successful kickstarter campaign. The amount of effort it would take to run a successful campaign is immense. You have to market your campaign (which means writing lots of blog posts, forum posts, and building a web site, at least), offer rewards to contributors, and even if you do those things and you have a successful kickstarter campaign (which you won't with just a few nice sprites and concept art) you will then owe in taxes and kickstarter will take a large chunk of change from your campaign. You won't end up with enough money to pay people to make a game and it's likely even the paid help you would get wouldn't be very reliable because you won't get enough money to pay them a professional wage. It's like I told you on skype the only way this project is going to be successful is if you do it yourself. Expect to work on this game for 5 years doing everything from programming and all of the graphics.
