VirtAnderson
They're not the best, but I felt like sharing them. To make them I pasted parts of one character's sprite onto the other's, then swapped the colors of the rest of the sprite. Not too difficult to make. Floofy
I love the second one.
VirtAnderson
This is a sillier one. I say that because Phoenix Wright and Winston Payne have very different body structures, so Nick's head looks huuuuuge.
VirtAnderson
A sprite for a Phoenix Wright case I'm making. This is a witness, Arthur "Art" Drew.
GSF
Oh, this looks pretty neat. Which casemaker are you using? I've played a good share of fan cases in PyWright. Also good job keeping the tradition of punny names. :]
VirtAnderson
I'm not sure yet on the engine. Do you think PyWright would be better than CaseMaker?
VirtAnderson
I edited one of the flashback shots from the game in an effort to make it as if it were an actual case. Methinks I need to clean up the hair a bit. Also, I'm planning on doing some of the other shots, too.
TailsSena
These are nice! Keep it up!
VirtAnderson
By the way, this: is the shot that sprite was made out of. I cut out the design on his shirt because you couldn't tell exactly what it was and I didn't want to get it wrong.
VirtAnderson
Sorry for the double post, but I churned out another animation. It's based after one of the animations Phoenix had when he was younger.
VirtAnderson
Whoa!! Huge bump! Anyway, here's a new, custom 8-bit sprite in the Kid Icarus style. Pit and Palutena are there for size reference. Also, the character it's based after:
Serephim
it would help immensely if you simply added another shade of white to the sprite and added shadow under the head/neck for more depth. as for the other sprites, broken hotlinks
VirtAnderson
Unless I made a separate piece for the white mouth area, I can't add another shade. 3 colors per sprite. NES rules/limitations.
TailsSena
Technically 4 colors per sprite, but the 4th is usually an invisible background. And I don't remember the NES being very good at runtime animation. (Making those 6 sprites stay together without slowdown would be a massive pain on the NES.)
