DimensionWarped
It's got a higher resolution screen in addition to being bigger. Not that 1024x768 is a respectable resolution at that size.

DimensionWarped
Hey, higher resolution is a big deal, especially if you are a display freak like I am.
shadowgoten
yea that really isn't a very respectable resolution lol
DimensionWarped
Actually, I didn't realize how small the iPad was. Today I saw a picture of it in the hands of someone who isn't Steve Jobs and it actually looked pretty damn small, so maybe 1024x768 isn't that poor afterall. It's a pretty weird resolution considering the aspect ratio though. In terms of PPI, it's about average for a cheap tablet.
donnyku
Lack of Multitasking = Listening to music while browsing Web or anything which automatically turns me off from this
hRook
Uh, you can definitely listen to music while doing anything else on it.
shadowgoten
yea donny you can do music at the same time as anything else, I do it on the iphone all the time, but that's the extent of any "multitasking" the device can do. You just can't open something up like pandora and expect to listen to your stream while doing something else. In other hilarious news....Ipad software already got ported to the iphone and itouch: http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/30/ipad-ui-gets-ported-to-the-iphone-and-ipod-touch/ man people are fast. flame6753
what advantages does the ipad have over iphone, NONE?
Aaron C-T
You can watch movies bigger. And fit books on a page better. And browse the net better (or, rather, on a bigger screen). Basically everything's bigger.
Blue Emerald
Have they fixed the battery life yet? What about its susceptibility to crashing? How about that issue where it locks up and force-reboots itself every now and then? No? It's just a bigger iPhone? Sorry, pass.
