DiabloHedgehog
I been playing around with a very basic rigged up sonic model and gave it a go trying to produce frames for a 2D sprite, these are a very slap-bang rush job just to see how they turned out. Sonic is only using base colours with a toon like filter, i'm going to try to see how much I can improve his pixelated look when I can. If I can get a good looking sprite without having to touch up the renders i'll pump out a full sprite sheet for sfghq. *edit* better sprite:
Asuma
Colors seems off. Especially on his bottom shoes.

MSUK
I'm pretty sure that sonic has always had grey patterned shoe soles. Having them blue seems really off, change that. Otherwise, these are pretty smooth. Nice work.
cyborg_ar
i like the first set more, sonic is not made of plastic!
DimensionWarped
I don't know which modelor you are using, but I might be able to help out a little if toon shading is up your alley.
DiabloHedgehog
Max2009, used a falloff filter with some basic colours. No grey for his boots because I was lazy, same for no yellow in his ears. My 2nd set reminds me a lot of 3D blast now that I see them again. DimensionWarped
The problem with a sprite sheet like this is a total lack of resources to go with it. You should make sure you release the material files as well as the sprite in case anyone actually wants to use it.
DiabloHedgehog
I'm tempted to make a base sprite set (running jumping rolling) and some ghz 3d tiles to go with it so the sprites don't mash so horrible among genesis tiles. I wonder how that will look. I removed the pink from the first animation.
