MikeTheHedgehog
Well I like to use my webcam sometimes but when I unplug it from the USB my PC goes to a blue screen with text (I almost shit myself each time because I think its BSOD) and then my PC restarts. I don't know why it does this. It's happened about 3 times. If it happens again I'll make a video with my camera.
Khorney
....that is a BSOD, just in XP it auto restarts before you can read it. seems like your drivers are crapped out, try re-install/update and see how that goes
shadowgoten
best advice is to find the correct drivers for the device, install those (or reinstall) and see if that solves the problem, if not, just get rid of it and get a better webcam. Gamerdude
Vista still has BSOD's. If your computer goes to or flashes a blue screen, regardless of whether it was during normal Windows operation or during boot, that's considered a BSOD. If you're saying that it happens nearly all the time when the webcam is unplugged, then it's most likely a driver related issue. Visit the manufacturer's website and install the latest drivers. If that doesn't fix your problem, you're most likely out of luck until they release some sort of fix or you buy a new webcam.

DimensionWarped
Vista still has BSOD's. I sure as hell can vouch for that one, though I've pretty much squelched that problem on my end completely after only about 6 months.
