Ayling
Sonic can run up curved slopes, but can't seem to run down a quartercircle like the one on this page- http://www.themysticalforestzone.com/sprites/Sonic/backgorund_idems/Endlessmine.png Is there a way to fix it? angles don't fix it, btw. Tizo The Hedgehog
Urm... okay, why not try changing the players movement in the (M) qualifyers?
DimensionWarped
Why not try rehosting the picture so I can see what you are talking about.
Ayling
It's basically the reverse loop. Like, sonic running down a curve. I'll make a screen tomorrow.

Mark the Echidna
My guess is because the curve is so small (it's from Endless Mine), it won't be detected by the engine properly. But I may be terrible wrong. Have you tryied with a larger object?
DimensionWarped
Yeah, I have no problem with normal quarter-circles. Its probably because yours is too small.
Ayling
Umm, I just take the worlds loop, and take the reverse quarter-circle. Sonic just walks out on it.
Streak Thunderstorm
Make sure you set it as an obstacle. Make sure it's on the layer where all the other platforms are.
Ayling
Make sure you set it as an obstacle.Make sure it's on the layer where all the other platforms are. Umm, I'm not THAT stupid... Sonic just walks out and stays there. I might have been using quick backdrops. I will see again.
Gamerdude
If he just walks out and stands there (if you're meaning like, standing in mid-air)...that sounds like you have "collision with box" turned on in the backdrop's properties. If this is so, it's treating the empty pixels from that backdrop as an obstacle, which you don't want.
Ayling
I've got it working now. My computer plays with my mind. It runs differently, with no changes. Piece of junk.
