Gamemakernooblet Posted August 26, 2007 Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 im making game using sonic worlds beta engine. my current level has 1000+ objects in it. this seems to drop frame rate to 30-40 witch makes gameplay slow. Mashine independent speed makes it go with normal speed but its laggy. So, is there anyway to make game go smoothly? :squestion: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Damizean Posted August 28, 2007 Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 Set those objects' inactivation if too far from frame to "Yes", instead of "Automatic". That'll completely deactivate those objects if they aren't visible, making the game faster.
