Jsonic
I didn't model this, I found it at sonic cult Here. The only thing I did here is rigged it for animation (I don't know if anyone els did this). and did a little animation to show that it works. also I rendered it like that for no real resone, the gif file type did not do that to it, I did. the low color that is. I know something is up with the hands, but I don't know why... Edit: I did this in 3Ds max 9 32bit Update! hands problem found by Mark the Echidna, now its fixed. here is a new animation. Update 2! I've rigged Dami's Classic sonic model now, and quite well I mite add... it was more fun rigging his model than the other one. as always, here is a new animation of Dami's model in action walking. Update 3! It took a little extra rigging but I got it, another animation!
Aaron C-T
Did you edit it any? It sorta looks like you did. Do you mind showing us some shots of the rig? I still kind of suck at that sort of thing, but apparently you've got it down. :: points at your av ::
Mark the Echidna
Pretty good job! =D It doesn't look like it was edited... It looks only different because it has lighting (the original sonic model seems to have been redered with an enviroment map and no lighting). Mark the Echidna
Oh, I think I know the problem with the hands... the vertices are unwelded. Convert it to an editable poly (if it isn't already), then change it to vertex sub-object mode... select all the vertices... and on the modify tab on the panel, find the "Weld" button, and click on it. It should get fixed.
