I definately agree with that. I don't hate all turn-based games, but Sonic's pace may be slowed some already with it being an RPG.Although, I do like seeing that they might be trying to keep the speed aspect somewhat.

I can't say i'm impressed at all by the title, but maybe this will be a good game. Just.... when they say RPG and list features, how will it play out? With real time strategy things, or will the pace be dampened by turn based combat? And the more news we find out, the less confident I feel about the whole thing...

Still, I guess Co-Op adds a bit more.

I'd have to agree, I love RimTime Crisis. Although, Ghost Squad is a really good fix for that. I love the game and have been addicted to it since I bought it.

This is the best game of the year so far.

Link's Crossbow Training is a crap load of fun. The one thing I want Namco to make is a compilation of the Time Crisis series. That's the pennicle of all light gun games.

Just now coming back to SFGHQ, I might give this a shot, but don't expect too much from me, if anything at all.

Interesting, yet a rather late update. I guess this proves each character gets their own story line, perhaps?

Now they're just screwing with us... Diddy Kong? I'm mean, that's awesome that we're getting to see new characters but it seems like they're holding back Sonic. Which would actually make sense but, it'd be nice to find out sooner. I'm curious how Diddy works since he's smaller than DK and definately weaker.

Looks like without the right timing it'd be disastrous, and when it says other characters can too, does that mean they have their special jump, or actually have a long distance weapon?

Personally, I thought Paper Sonic was good for a first. The graphics could use some touching up, but do hold "paper-ish" theme to them. It probably shouldn't try to be some much like Paper Mario, which was the vibe I kept getting. Some things need to be tweaked, especially Sonic himself. Fighting Eggman was hard because he was so screwy, but none the less, solid. Looking forward to the next release.

TRD's Casino Night Concept: 9 The roulette fits perfectly with the level. Adherance to Game Art: 10 Almost TOO creative for Sonic... Animation Quality: 10 I think the elevating of the post could be smoother, but that's my only complaint. Overall: 20 Incredibly well animated and an awesome Idea. Total: 49 TRD's Death Egg Concept: 8 The electricity fits well with the Death Egg Adherance to Game Art: 7 Doesn't seem like it would go well with Act 2 Animation Quality: 8 Worked well, but not as well as Casino Night Overall: 15 Interesting, but not as good as Carnival Night Total: 38 Zenor's Metallic Madness Good Future Concept: 7 Different choice and seems hard to tackle. Adherence to Game art: 8 It doesn't seem like Sonic CD to me, especially Good Future Animation Quality: 10 Very well strung together and quite fancy.. Overall: 16 Different and interesting idea. Total: 41 Palindrome's Hydrocity Concept: 9 Almost like a cartoony firehydrant, nice. Adherance to Game Art: 10 It looks just like it was taken from the game. Animation Quality: 7 Does OK, but the jet of water looks like it was downsized from a bigger verison. Overall: 15 Looking great, needs some buffing out. Total: 41 Ryan Cordel's Lava Reef Act 2 Concept: 10 A whole different star post that doesn't use the symbol, clever. Adherance to Game Art: 10 It looks great for the second act. Animation quality: 7 Wasn't as high of quality of expected, but still good. Overall: 18 Great and creative, but the GIF lacks but not enough to kill it. Total: 45

Great game, had some lag the second act and would've loved to see that scrolling boss, but none the less, it was great. The special stages had an almost addictive effect and the presentation was GREAT. Good work.

Ridley seems like too much of a trophey than an actual character to me. I'm happy for any new characters, but Ridley doesn't seem like a contendor to me. Even with all the resizing and such. Although, after today's update, about anything's possible. :/
