  1. I don't care how large this game is, I really want to try it. If needed, I can host it for you through SAGE, but I'd probably need to take it down afterward. Can't guarantee how well it'll work, but if you need it, it's better than rapidshare....
  2. I almost think the size would attract more interest. Sort of like "Well, this is big, so it must be good!" Either way, I'd download, everything looks awesome so far.
  3. Remember when you were 5 and you played pretend? Well let's say you do and you might've dressed up or something in your backyard and cried out about how you're Superman. Well, this isn't about you, it's about a "real life" superhero in Cincinnati who apparently goes by the name of Shadow Hare. I can't make this up. According to this video, this guy and his gang run around looking for criminals to take out. I guess he gives people sandwiches and stuff too. There's actually a MySpace sorts of website for superheroes where they sign up and such. Brave or stupid? YOU DECIDE
  4. It's for PC and PS3, too. ...but you'll probably need a godly computer to run it and I can't say much about a PS3.
  5. I'm looking forward to comically attacking groups of zombies with wearing a moose head. This game has everything.
  6. The only DSi games they have are on the DSi shop and most of them aren't that great. I did pick up Dr. Mario on Monday though...
  7. I should've been more precise, if you trade in your Lite at Gamestop you get $70 off the DSi, dropping the price to around $100. Got one today anyway, I'll probably pick up a game Saturday, so what should I get that's new/doesn't suck?
  8. I'm really on the fence about this. I really haven't played my DS much since Kirby Ultra Super Star and there really aren't any exclusive games for the DSi. Yet. The biggest pull to me is DSiWare, but the current line up is so weak that I don't feel I should be bothered with it. I assumed homebrew would be easy to do, assuming special SD cards and what not weren't needed. In truth, that's been the biggest interest to me, however there haven't been any noteworthy advancements, so that's currently out. Still, my shoulder buttons are busted like crazy on my Lite and playing any game that uses them is really awkward. Plus, losing the GBA slot isn't that bad, since I could use my Lite (or brother's DS) for any peripherals. Plus, like PG said, GBA games stick out. Bad. I may have used the slot to actually play GBA games 3 times since I bought it. What do you guys think? Should I purchase one this weekend or hold off until the DSiWare line picks up? EDIT: That deal about trading your Lite for $70 off doesn't sound bad at all.... but it's kind of weird. EDIT 2: I may have more time to think. According to Gamestop's website, there isn't a store within 100 miles of my home that has DSi(s?) Great.
  9. Wii homebrew's much simpler though. You don't need to burn discs or much at all, you just put files on an SD card and you're set.
  10. Well that's sort of what I'm saying. They've been making an attempt but it always fails so miserably. Sure, the Sonic fandom's not pleased, but that doesn't stop people from buying it. :/
  11. I dunno... In a way, it's very pretty to look at, but when it were to actually play, it seems almost too much, probably just me though. Nonetheless, I want to see more of this project, it seems to be coming together fairly well.
  12. Honestly, I don't know about Unleashed. On one hand, I actually liked it somewhat. There were some pretty fun moments, and I have revisited a couple levels. Still, the "Werehog" just kills me. It's so ridiculous that explaining it to people makes me feel stupid(er.) While I wouldn't bash it as bad as some reviewers have, my expectations were fairly low, kind like "if it's better than watching paint dry, it's good." My biggest problem is that I don't see how this could really appeal to anyone outside of the Sonic fandom. Perhaps that's not what SEGA and Sonic Team's shooting for, but you really can't prosper on a select fan base for too long.
  13. I can't help but disagree with your incredibly well thought out and put together post. Sorry.
  14. This isn't the first time. (Sorry, couldn't find an actual site.) That game also uses Genesis sprites, though it's for a different system. There are some Sonic Advance sprite movements (correct term?) just converted to Genesis. Different, that's for certain. I haven't found a single SEGA logo anywhere, which really calls things into question.
  15. Now you can walk around with your Game Gear and show everyone how it's on life support. Awesome!
  16. If you're saying I think there's any hope for SEGA to make a comeback, then that Michael Jackson thing sums my thoughts up pretty well.
  17. You seem to be thinking of it as more of gaming hardware, which it's clearly not. Yes, it's "chinese crap," but it's a form of hardware, none the less. I could say how wrong you are and everything, but it's too bad I agree 100%.
  18. The Game Gear had a TV tuner you could buy, but I've never used one. I can't imagine it worked well at all, especially with the awful battery life like DW said.
  19. There's some dream that lives with certain people that SEGA will one day make another console. I doubt it will ever happen, but that doesn't mean they won't make crap like this: It's basically a combination of every media player that tries something "new." I can't imagine this thing having very good battery life, and according to this YouTube video, it's as big as a credit card. Yeah, that's really usable. The biggest problem I have with the portable TV thing is that all TV stations are going digital next year, and if it can't pick those up, that function will pretty much be useless in the U.S. (I have no idea about other countries.) Here are some sources and whatnot: http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/10/03/sega_vision/ http://www.seganerds.com/2008/10/04/the-sega-vision-is-real-apparently/ Is it any bit worth it? Do you care? Probably not...
  20. If this thing could run DC emulation, I'd pick it up just for. It'd be pretty awesome to play Sonic Adventure on the go. Still like my PSP though. :/
  21. I remember the boss to Pristine Palisade and how awesome it was. Will it be redone with the new engine and such?
  22. I meant enough time to care...? Maybe not, even I don't know where I was going, maybe it was just finding the video in general.
