  1. Subjective Lake, but I respect your opinion on the matter. BTW there's quite a bump upward musically in MMZ even though the bar in the image is kind of low. Whatever you wanna believe... this is the price for being honest. I already told you I have nothing against the sound team. Shame it's getting a bit depressing around here.
  2. Feel free to screw with my name if you want your laugh. I'm still here. You guys changed my perspective here a bit.
  3. I'm sorry that your humor is limited. Yeah I facepalmed myself. My bad, KgZ I edited it for you.
  4. lol is that better then being called a GigaDouche, some of you guys are real hypocrites.
  5. I respect Lake fully for his persistence & tolerance and the musicians for trying to put something amazing together. The RRZ's music do work act 1 & 3 are really good songs, I think the weirdness of act 2 really ruins how aesthetically melodic and groovy 1 & 3 are. But that is merely my opinion. -Congrats Lake for being able to do what most couldn't: swiftly pull out quality Sonic games. -Congrats Falk for bringing a team together. -Congrats Lange for composing some very memorable tunes especially Foliage Furnace. -Congrats Ristar for your groovy guitar work. -Congrats Funk Fiction for making "Freefall" and bringing the funk. -Congrats Maxie for making the "music make me lose control" and those grand 16-bit YM tunes rearranged. -Oh and Congrats KGZ for the digital nostalgic beats.
  6. I'm proving now that i'm a literal human being. What does it matter if i'm just five exclamation points? If you can make my username look stupid why can't it be !!!!! ? Pretty silly i'd say. Well if I can't change it to something I do actually use, just bring down the ban hammer or something. I'm sorry I can't further participate in this forum for that.
  7. I know but it was insulting for something so stupid. I won't cry over it. It just goes to show the guys at work's "professionalism". You do not have the right to tell me how I give criticism. If you had a sense of humor, you could have just laughed it off. I described a few things I didnt like such as the synth and bass. I even gave an example of a "my opinion good" of a funky lava track if you wanted to ignore the stuff before. Stop being so uptight!
  8. I always assumed that TTZ3 was the snowy zone. It fits with the celestial music.
  9. I respected you DW, your programming skills amazing, your contributions to the community but all at the cost of this childish behavior. Sorry but !!!!! is literally what I go by no spambot, not a machine, it's just different.
  10. Hahahah even the admins are having their fun, screwing with my username and stuff. This forum has become hilarious when the trolls show their true colors. !!!!!: I have no beef with the composers. Some of the music may have not been up to my taste and i'm very tolerable of most music flavors. I've enjoyed BTS' music completely even though it may not have always been Sonic-y. Do I not have the right to dislike a track or two just because it comes from a fan game or people close to home? Apparently I'm being told i'm in the wrong by Aizen and a troll who likes to abuse power.
  11. lmao (I think Dramatization evaded your mind) I never said i was an music expert, I was just stating an opinion with a little humor. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to suit your tastes. Thanks for that blitz, i'm a sick one. I love to see you guys roll in pain. not really lol! Oh and please call me !!!!!, hellstorm was an old lurker name.
  12. There are hit and miss songs but not enough to drown myself underwater. I meant mainstream (Sonic 1-3K, adventure-type, 3d unleashed style games) though i should of clarified. Carnival Night was creepy as hell but it sure was oddly memorable. You can blame MJ for that. But what was one Sonic song that made you tear your hair out?
  13. Which SSZ? Sugar Splash? Storm Station?
  14. 1: Alright I stand corrected. He's definitely in the wrong there. I'll edit my post to not confuse anymore. 2: Those statements were meant to be separate I meant the criticism of the track alone should be used to help musicians better their music. It's just for me the musical hype's begun to dwindle.
  15. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to put this post and I apologize if it isn't but can an admin change my username to !!!!!. Thanks in return.
  16. !!!!! here in an old name and yup that must be me your referring too maybe. Yeah too be perfectly honest I don't like the track at all. Those horrid synths at 0:28, that uncomfortable synth bass... I've never felt so depressed and so willing to drown myself in boiling magma. Maybe that was the song's intent? (Dramatization of course) Ok, it doesn't have to be aggressive. However, Sonic music is known for how memorable and well structured they are. I've never heard a song from a mainstream Sonic game that sounded bad, maybe I disagreed with the song's genre but it wasn't horrible. BTW I think RRZ1&3 are really good, but this kinda kills how good they are. Sonic Music in my opinion = Catchy <---------- "Fitting In" (here's of an funky example song I can think of that the 2nd act could have been based on and taken WAYYYYY less flak if none at all) EDIT: Misunderstanding I was really, really, REALLY hype for the music, now not so much. I hope this criticism will help you musicians improve not tear you down.
  17. Very good game. The level design is great, similar to a mix of Sonic CD and Sonic 3&K. Even better that you've set up every trope in the game with varied enviroments. BTW vexer did you get my PM?
  18. Sorry about that. I thought this was a community project at some point. So I believe now this is a private project that allows contributions from members. Correct me if I am wrong. Contrary to that, I've actually designed the stage with Sonic in mind. However I can see how there seems like only one route. The 1st half of the stage was based entirely off of MCKaosu's sketches of the stage, whilst the second half I added afterwards. In most cases getting to the top route at least in the beginning would have Sonic hop over a floating platform and onto a seesaw with spike to launch him higher without the player waiting on a floating moving platform. The blind jumps were there because I hadn't just slapped a few floating platforms to allow access. Whoopsy. I designed the stage as straight-forward as possible less then the slightly vertical design of EHZ. Not sure about Green Hill though. No problem, I can accept the criticism. If any I would like to help on Zero if possible? Thanks in return.
  19. I literally only used the tiles made by GamerNerdAdvance and created the act from scratch using the Sonic Collab Worlds Engine and the MCKaosu's stage templates. The parallax came at last minute about 30 minutes before I uploaded. I felt that Act 1 would work best as a beach to grass area and that the city parts would come next act. Either way this was just an example from me pieced together.
  20. I've designed a test act for Palmtree Parkway Zone. If anyone wants to give it a run, link down below. I suggest to use Tails for exploring as a lot of the upper area can't be accessed through normal means i.e. lack of programmed gimmicks. http://www.mediafire.com/?m102y9m4216zyya
  21. I haven't been able wrap this around my head but I was wondering how to be able to respawn objects when offscreen. Example: Say there's a gimmick such as a balloon Sonic would have to grab on to float to a platform too high to jump yet if the balloon pops, Sonic would have to grab the balloon again to progress. I'm looking for a way to do that without having to make more than one object with the same events. Using the newest Sonic Worlds engine BTW.
  22. @asuma to show off a little bit of the level without having to resort to posting 10 second videos.
