  1. This movie is all that is man. "We will blot out the sun with our rain of arrows! Well, then...we shall fight in the shade." Cheesy? That line is made of pure win. Now I'm motivated to go and start working on my Spartan six-pack.
  2. Well, it looks like Topher Grace buffed up for the part. (Thankfully) And I'm very much happy with Venom's redesign. I didn't think they could do it, but they pulled off a very convincing Venom, imo. Can't wait to see him in action.
  3. You didn't? Perhaps that was a shoddy estimation... I remember you had shown me your picture at one point, though.
  4. Happy Birthday BRP. I think I remember chatting with you on aim like 5 years ago.
  5. Nicely put, your post was a bit more helpful/friendly than mine. :x
  6. For the last time, Slingerland, I have absolutely nothing against people drawing cartoons. I'm saying that any style you want to create will be much more well-defined if you learned to draw from life first-hand. That's not debating. Ask any skilled artist and they will tell you the same. I'm sharing this knowledge with SP to help him excel in his skill level, and I totally respect his thoughts if he doesn't want to.
  7. I'm only trying to give advice as an experienced artist myself. Take it or leave it. Trust me, I used to _HATE_ drawing realism with a passion. You missed my point, by the way. Pablo Picasso didn't draw using that style all his life. He first learned to draw from the fundamental base of that style, which is life itself, just as every style should. Something I apparently failed to explain. Forgive me if what I said came off as harsh, but I assure you, I wasn't just bashing your art. I offered you my (relatively?) constructive critism. The realm of art where I come from is so much harsher than that. Slingerland: It's all this religious debate that made me sound pious.. racking my mind. :x Also, art is my profession. I have knowledge about it and I very much enjoy offering my input on other people's works, regardless of how mean it may sound.
  8. Duude. Harry owns his dad at pwning Spidey. I thought the idea of another Green Goblin was dumb, but that scene redeems it. I dont know if it's just me, but I always felt like the Sandman was kinda thrown in there. And the idea of living sand just feels a bit too unrealistic, even for Spider-Man. Scrawny Venom, ftw.
  9. Funny an artist should say that. Any kind of style when it comes to art is totally based off realism. Thus, you cannot manipulate realism into its own style unless you know how to draw it. It doesn't matter whether or not you're keeping art as just your hobby either. Learning to draw from real life is completely essential if you desire recognized skill. In other words, your art is cute, but not impressive. EDIT: Now don't get me wrong, SP. I can see you have talent, but it just saddens me to see it's only being used to draw cartoons.
  10. Well, they're all quite nice for the style you used, SP. However, if you wanted to show off your talent to its full extent, I suggest showing some realism.
  11. L:Dwl Slniger tahts s:D funni. :D :D
  12. Happy Birthday, SG. <3 EDIT: :D :D :D :D :D
  13. lawl Criss is in league with Lucifer. :OOOOO
  14. Hey guys, long time no update. XD Dude, Streak. I had drawn your character at one point, but lost picture. I'll scan it in and upload it when I find it, or possibly draw a new one. :x Haircut. Thumbnail drawn for my unfinished oil painting. Yet another. Not a self potrait, but I thought I'd show y'all my attempt at anime. No references used in this style I so affectionately dub "Hentai Schoolgirl Style." >_>
  15. Haha, I'm not at all concerned about convincing anyone that telekinetics are real. I was just stating my own experiences with it, not really expecting anyone to believe me. And why should they? Any hard evidence on it is rather scarce, after all.
  16. Oi, now I regret mentioning it. You want to learn telekinesis? Do it on your own affairs, and don't say I didn't warn you. I'll tell you that it takes alot of time and devotion before you will get results. Beginner's feats aren't all that amazing either. But I digress, you should post some videos of your magic on YouTube, Wesker. I want to see what you can do, as well as your showmanship.
  17. The mobility-loss thing is a long term effect, and tends to occur only in those who are highly advanced at telekinesis. What scared me the most is that I became addicted to it, as in I wouldn't stop practicing it even when I tell myself I'm not gonna do it anymore. I just doesn't feel right, to put it simply.
  18. It will come at a cost, TRD. Nothing good has ever become of the worlds greatest psychics. I've heard of people who lose mobility in their bodies from it.
