  2. Well, I didn't think I'd ever be posting in this topic again but, I need some music for Flappy Bird Adventures. Again, I'm not making a topic for this game... I'll just be posting news and anything else relating to it in the Sonic & Mighty topics. Something intense...

  8. Oh, now I understand. I just searched up Flappy Jam, and apparently this thing is going on until February 24th. I'm not making a game for Flappy Jam. I didn't even know about this. I just thought it'd be fun to build upon Flappy Bird by including levels, power-ups, bosses, etc. This is also my way of getting more experience with MMF2, and doing something productive until Worlds Delta 1.4.3 comes out. Ugh, here's another screenshot I guess.
  9. @Highwire He's being dragged with the mouse cursor, just like you'd drag a file to your desktop or something. There's no clicking involved. @arcticfox The game's called Flappy Bird Adventures, and yes it is for that game. I really don't know where you got "Jam" from. It's also not a clone or anything though. It's the complete opposite... in a way. A clone of Flappy Bird would have a similar game play style, but a different character (like a fish or a penguin). What I'm doing is using the same character (and setting and whatnot) but having a different game play style. There will be actual levels with (I think I'll make it 5) pipes instead of just endless randomly generated pipes. There might be power-ups that let you, say, shrink or become invincible. There might also be some story elements and even a villain *cough* *cough*. Go check on the Sonic & Mighty thread. I have a playable demo of Flappy Bird Adventures, even though I've already made a few improvements between the time I put up that demo and now.

You need to drag the bird with your mouse cursor, by the way. I'm also aware that it has nothing to do with Sonic & Mighty. I'm just not gonna start a whole topic for this game. The game will have multiple levels, each with about 5 pipes... I think. I'll try to add some story elements or something to make it feel more like an adventure. There might also be some gimmicks or powers that, for example, allow you to shrink.

  13. Eh, I actually don't have anything in the code for the pipe movements, just the collisions. Thanks though. In fact, it appears as if the upper pipe is moving faster, and both eventually stop. The bottom pipe happens to stop earlier though, and you can even see part of the outline of the upper pipe all the way over to the left. EDIT: Okay, I think I might have fixed the problem. I switched to vector movement, since the in-and-out movement confuses the hell out of me.

  16. Ah, thanks. By the way, here's a little something I'm working on until Sonic Worlds Delta 1.4.3 comes out. This might also help me get to know MMF2 a little bit better .
  17. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I'm actually more excited for the fact that it's Friday, but Valentine's Day is also cool.
  18. Even though Lake's guide is meant for Worlds 0.5, I guess it can still apply to Delta. Thanks for the advice, but I was also talking about making graphics, not just programming. I mean I can teach my self how to make decent pixel art, but I think it would still be best to get someone who's already a professional, so the game could be finished quicker. I don't know. Sorry if I'm being a derp as usual. Also, I think most people have a team, so getting people to help with Sonic & Mighty isn't that big of a stretch. EDIT: Oh yeah, and what does HWA mean when it comes to MMF2?
  19. They look cool and all, but what about different animals. When it came to "OCs", I always wanted to point out that there are animals other than hedgehogs that can be used, and those might perhaps make the character a bit more original (since they are, after all, original characters). There are lots of animals (elephants, bears, tigers, etc.) that haven't already been used by SEGA. I myself don't make fan characters, so I guess I wouldn't really know much on this subject. Just try to use different animals (if you want to) and maybe get rid of some of the clothes. Most Sonic characters don't wear clothes, but it's up to you.
  20. I think I can wait, Asuma. Also, should I like get people on my "team" or something? I really don't know if I can develop Sonic & Mighty on my own. Hopefully, I'm not being "some asshole who cannot program" as the General Rules say, cause I'm not really that great at, well, anything (including programming). In other words, I don't want to just get a bunch of people to work on my project, and then take all the credit or something, even though I'm a talent less fuck. I just need some help with Sonic & Mighty is all... so let me know if you wanna help out... I guess... #danuseslotsofellipsesbecausehe'sawkward

  21. There's a Mario engine for MMF2, http://www.mfgg.net/index.php/index.php?act=resdb&param=02&c=4&id=17924. It has the run button thing you described. Maybe you can copy the code or something.
  22. Knuckles is already a tough character, so making him buff isn't really that big of an issue with me. Also, keep in mind that Sonic Boom is not part of the main series, so the character designs probably won't be this way permanently. Sonic CD = Before After the Sequel
