I'd say that the "genericness" you noted Miru would be due to the fact that (not much of) a single stage is being shown. Maybe you tune will change once more info is revealed. (Although, the Banjo-Kazooie approach can be used for another game) I didn't even notice the new shoes though, and it's a nice touch! Same with the Kamba badnik.

As far as where the Mega Man game are located...it really depends on what stage. If I remember correctly each stage is in a different location on their Earth (which is a parallel to ours, with some added locations). The only thing that stays constant would be a place like Dr. Light's lab which is somewhere in the US. For Bubble Man you can just say "Located deep in an unexplored ocean" or something to that effect.

I really like the tiles you have in the second picture; it's a perfect example of how colors influence other colors (in terms of it being interpreted as darker or lighter). Two questions: -if I may ask, what was the problem with the BG anyway? And, -is that Sonic spinning aroun the Time Post? If yes the you get +9 respect points

Along with the spoiler idea (you really shouldn't showcase all of your story like that, keep some of it as a surprise) do you have any WIP screens we can look at, so we can get a feel for what we're in store for? Also, you should look over that story again. For example: Yeah...you still seem to have a good project here, and it may need some refinement. I'll keep an eye on this, seems interesting.

Maybe you can give it a bit of an outline to make it stand out? Or you can animate it so it appears to be rumbling and spitting out small sparks/steam/bits of machinery. I think this also depends on how the rest of your environment is, as well.

Is there any more info you can give (are there any error messages that pop up as you try to open it, or have you changed something recently, etc.)? I would recommend uninstalling-reinstalling BUT You should wait for other people to give their two cents in first

I second this; I feel that it leads to a flat-topped head. Maybe a rounder top would help? Also, Chaos 0 looks pretty water-like, and I would recommend adding a "water wave texture" of some sort (I can't really explain that too well; think of that "veiny surface" water tends to have). I'll try to find an example and edit the post if I do.
