I've had this idea to make a "90's Arcade Hero" character for quite some time now,then some anon on 4chan story timed a comic called "Burn the Orphanage - Born to Lose" ,it's pretty much a beat 'em up game in a comic format,look it up,it's pretty cool. So that comic gave me the inspiration I needed to actually do the thing. I think all I need is to finish the unfinished poses,add some kicks,some specials,and that's pretty much it for this guy,it's a big enough sheet for a character that wasn't even meant to be sheeted. Feel free to suggest poses though. Here are his partners,the chick is more 80's based,the kid at the bottom is the son of the 90's guy and 80's chick.The orange guy is an adult in the present timeline,hard to explain since you guys here aren't really familiar with my characters,so eh.

Some friends asked me if I was gonna sprite the Sonic Boomdage redesigns. I was gonna say I didn't want to sprite the Sonic BDSM redesigns yet,but then I opened paint and made this up: It was VERY rushed,just wanted to "test" the design in sprite form. I don't understand the bandage bondage,doesn't make sense,doesn't look good,all it does is clutter the design which also make it a pain to sprite,I just don't get it.Otherwise I'm actually fine with the redesign,I can get over the lankyness (even if it's pretty awkward in motion),and the blue arms (WHY?),but the bandages just..WRAP me. I also just noticed I forgot the scarf,I really did rush it,will make a better Sanic when I make the rest of the gang.

I think I actually sprited something like that once,as a flat colored 8bit sprite,but I can't seem to find it. ------ I'll go back and fix that guy's hair later,for now: New Sally,again,my older versions can be found on DA or earlier in this topic. The pink palette is just an alt based on her design from the Satam pilot. The hair is based on 256's cover,but it seems a little off now that I look at it...Sally is kinda a tricky character to get right..

I honestly didn't even remember you were staff on that MFZ incarnation.I believe Syn was still working on redesigning the forum or something,last I've heard of him,but I don't think this topic is really the best place to talk about it,or if talking about MFZ is even worth it at all.It's been down for pretty long now. I appreciate the clarification though,thanks. ---------- C+P: As you can see,the crazy spiky head is just an extravagant helmet,which comes off to reveal an...Egyptian,Amazon,Inca,looking lady with a Geisha makeup?Eh,told you it was random,but I kinda like it. ------------- As for the source character,it isn't recognizable at all unless you remember my original sprite from a few years back: It's based on a Cell redesign from my DBZ alternate universe,back from 2010,IIRC.People were all over it back when I made it,so I thought it'd be cool to revisit the design. The only influence from the real DBZ Cell that's still in Sunstar's design is the white face and purple markings,otherwise,there aren't many relations.

I was asking because it's clearly an edit of my sprite,so it got me wondering how they looked like,I assume it's Hobber's work too. I also forgot this isn't the best place to ask though,but I'm pretty sure I know what they're for. ------- I tried spriting Ryo,but I just can't get his head right,so I did something completely unrelated,I never posted any of my original characters here,so I might aswell: It's a revisting of an old design of mine,it was originally a redesign of a popular character,but I made it into it's own thing now.I don't think anyone here knows the source though. I went really random with this redesign,what the hell is this supposed to be?I don't know,looks like some kind of lady of war,a goddess/deity maybe?I'm calling her "Sunstar" for now,seems fitting.

It was on MFS,not MFZ,and yeah,Perigi was the one responsible,I remember he made many different versions of Kirby. MFZ is down,MFS is still up but with all it's contents nuked by Helix for the most retarded reason possible,you can thank him later. Fuck Kirby though,I ain't spriting that pink ball shit. Damn,I was about to power dunk the shit outta you if you were serious. I never realized this character was getting obscure until some bitchass punk on another forum thought my sprite was Red from pokemon,that's kinda heartbreaking... @Pedro: I fixed his feet on that pose. But I made those poses for Mighty for the sake of making him different from Sonic,so giving them to Sonic too kinda beats the purppose. ------------- Haven't sprited anything since the last post,I was gonna make more characters,but just made this today for fun,have some more Terry love. Words cannot describe how much I'm attached to this guy.

The current Mo.Gen Eggman is an edit of mine,I remember Ninja gave him some poses before the forums got nuked. I'll sheet mine eventually,but it's really not a priority right now. --------------------- Christmas vacation made me stop working on Mighty,so no updates on him. Tried to do a simple experiment spriting humans though,and who's better to try that out than one of my all time favorite guys? Expect some more SNK characters if I get good c+c on this.

Thanks Pedrobear,I have plans for the D6,but I got a shitload of things I want to do really,so they're not a priority right now.They ight show up eventually. @Techokami: Do you actually need need that Eggman,or do you just "need" it?He wasn't on my current plans,but I might work on it a little if it's for an actual project. Made this last night,and I'll hopefully have a complete sheet of this guy done soon enough. Mainly the basic gameplay poses,walking,running,jumping,hurt,etc.Nothing too fancy,but not a single pose will be edited off of Sonic,I want Mighty to be his own character rather than just Sonic in a wig,speaking of which.. I made this after finishing the running animation. A is the original,C has a longer,differently shaped snout and sharper eyes,B is an inbetween,with the edited snout but keeping the original eyes. I personally want to keep C,as it's the most original,but I'm offering B incase you guys think C is weird.I'm definitely not keeping A though.

You mean ep11 is out?Fucking sweet! I've seen this girl too many times on the internet,and ended up succumbing into watching it,even if I'm not into animu.I don't regret it one bit,I ended up loving this thing and watched all 10 episodes in a row. Will post more opinions later,I'm gonna track down the newest ep right now.I gotta say though,the first time I started seeing this Ryuko's face all over 4chan,the first thing that came to my mind really was your artwork,Rawr.It's also one of the reasons that made me want to watch it. g2g,new ep already loading up.

Madona does need some fixes,like her arms looking like Squidward's,so i'll get back to her eventually. Likewise,feel free to PM me about stuff when you get back to spriting too. ----------------------- I'm redesigning the characters from Tails' Skypatrol. The ones on the upper row are the originals. I originally made her on the very day the first teaser trailer was unveiled,about time I revamped her. And making this guy's sprite less shit,still wip,not even sure why I uploaded this one already...
