I just complain about the grass, that's too simple (and doesn't match so much with that Sonic) and the blue sky in a dark background. Try to use a starry night background, that would be better and would match perfectly with these lights. Beside that, the rest is ok! Keep going!

Finally, a true remake, SEGA should made this a long time ago, but they haven't and probably won't make something like this... Looks awesome, but I believe that will take a long time to finish. Well, it's better this than having a one-mounth bad remake, like Sonic Genesis on GBA. Good Luck!

I thought that was from Sonic DL Adventure. I liked these textures, but you could use darker colors for shading below the grass instead of these black pixels.

These dust hill tiles doesn't match with the sandopolis and the background. Try to use a yellow tonality at the dust hill ones .
