  1. Sorry, if I made myself unclear, but I meant that it was too simple. Ie, just flying in a loop the same direction and shooting lasers isn't much fun. Maybe Eggman could stop at the other side and come back the other way shooting the lasers in that direction. Oh, and I love the ring loss, looks very cool.
  2. When I first heard the laser sounds I began looking around for battle droids. Sometimes however, the laser bolt would not appear, despite the sound was made. This is probably caused by being offscreen. I didn't like the boss much, it looked very cool, but was a bit too simple for my liking.
  3. It looks so good, but it goes at something around 8 FPS for me. Looks very fun though.
  4. Well, that was uncalled for... Anyway, I hadn't seen that tutorial on the site either. Useful...
  5. It appeals to me greatly, I don't think whites in the eyes would improve it muchly anyway. (Also TRD, your avatar is huge, resize please )
  6. Out of curiosity, does it matter? I'm sure it's just something like compression...
  7. It's a good engine, very solid. I encountered a bug however where you run as fast as you can and jump into a wall, you shoot upwards. Only happens occasionally though. Mind if I add a few things to it? Spindash, springs, things like that? Oh, and although the EXE doesn't show it, ceiling collisions work well. EDIT: Oh i see Spin Dash has been implemented already, very nicely too. EDIT2: When running, if you press down you sort of go into a jerky spindash animation.
  8. Ah, that's terrible art. 'You as a hedgehog' is probably the worst, the feet, arms and hands are awful. I'd stick to spriting. Oh, wait, you didn't do that sonic sprite. He did: http://www.themysticalforestzone.com/sprites/Sonic/Sonic/Super%20Sonic%20the%20hegchog/ss3sheetfin.png And horribly resizing it doesn't count. Neither does making the eyes red. But don't forget your wonderful new poses:
  9. Because not everyone has the same PC as you. There are different Graphics cards, computer speeds, memory.... I expect it would work fine on mine if i turned the graphics right down.
  10. My ball movement has 0 deceleration though, so it'll just halt on the out side, which will look odd. However, I managed to fix it up buy testing whether it was in a very small space inside the object. Thanks to all who helped!
  11. Sorry, that won't happen. Because what i am trying to do is a dead reckoning engine with mooclick, i am sending the X,Y and setting Active 2 to these positions, then Active one 'follows' it giving the illusion of lag free movement. Because the player movement is slow, this works really, really well. However I have the jerkyness bug. Each time a player joins, both actives are created, active one's alterable value A is set to the it's ID, and active 2's Alterable A is set to active one's alterable value A. I can then test whether Active A's alterable A is equal to Active B's alterable A. This works very well, no problems there. The reason I don't want to create 4 active objects (or more with sensors) is that I have been testing with about 10 to 20 people, that means a max of 80 objects (4 per person) and 60 of them you don't actually see. That slows it down a lot. The rest of your post I really don't understand Blue Frenzy, but I don't think it's for me. I just want to stop the jerking!
  12. Yup, tried that, but it doesn't work. Maybe it's because it's jerking around so much, it never gets to the X, Y. I've also tried this condition 'if x and y is not x and y +1' and then +2 all the way to +5. That also doesn't work.
  13. Yes, that works, but for my needs that's 2 active objects that I don't want to have to create, because there will be many, many Active 1s and Active 2s, and doubling that number won't help my game run speed. The other problem would be accuracy. Even 2 pixels wide for Active 3 and 4 looks a little odd.
  14. Hi, this is a pretty simple problem (in MMF), but I really don't see a simple answer to it. In a nut shell, my problem is i just have Active 1 with a ball movement always looking in the direction of Active 2, controlled with the arrow keys. This works fine, however when ever Active 2 stops, and lets Active 1 catch up with it, it does this weird, jerky thing as it's constantly changing directions. What i want to do is either fix this 'bug', or make my own custom ball movement that won't have this bug using trig. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks in advance!
  15. There is an extensive collection of tutorials on the klik academy: http://www.klikacademy.com/courses.php?PHPSESSID=3a6c57132aa5ac167c1fdd58029e9fe5 First one on the list, but you gotta sign up.
  16. I'm level 10 right now, but i can't connect to the international servers. Well i can, and i can join a game, but when it starts no one else moves and then i get disconnected. So i am on the America Server all the time now.
  17. In my experience, thats when you've been disconnected/ are disconnected from the game. I had a problem which was when i ran any other program in the background i could join a game but no one would ever move, and then i'd be forced to quit after these robots where having fits on the ground, much like what you have described.
  18. What is peoples levels? I'm... er... 6 now.
  19. DizzyDoo is my name, like usual. Whoo level 2!

    They'll sell anything these days.
  21. Same with me, you have to hold the up arrow at the title card. Very cool game though, but you may want to turn down Sonics turning speed.
  22. Dragostea Din Tei! *cough* Nah, i think it was a set up. He faced the general direction of the camera the whole time and then suddenly noticed the camera at the end of the song. Very convenient.
