I liked Super Ball Ultima! I miss that JEV3 guy, he was a beast at time attacking in ETCF in the SAGE 08 demo(he beat all of my best times even though I have hte level map and everything ). The two cool new members SAGE 08 brought were MFZB and JEV3. At least one of them stuck around!

rofl <3 I actually think the light edges are a bit too bright... keep in mind that it's a night time level. I really love the colors though, it doesn't have too much gray at all. It's stone, it has to be a little desaturated!

I know he's around, he's actually like really really close to finishing SFA. Like he's just finishing up cutscenes and stuff.. and he has like one more level to do. He really picked up the pace over the past few months. He just doesn't post here as much as he used to :<

rofl not too long ago Koray came back for a day and deleted one of my posts and told me that post was a bad example of how a moderator should act. Then he left again. I still talk to Nitemare from time to time on AIM. He's working on some projects of his own. Doesn't come around here much anymore, though I wish he would. I haven't talked to Euan in a while, but from what I can tell on his facebook he's living it up in college. He left Retro XG because it was taking too much from his social life and he had no time for it. I seriously love Euan so much, he was so helpful to me for years with making backgrounds. I owe so much to him. I miss Blue Frenzy, even if I still see him on AIM a lot. He also helped me so much with backgrounds, I'm still always showing him stuff I'm making. To whoever says he misses RC, he still pops in for periods of time under some name with "sailor" in it... I think he actually has two accounts here (he registered one and forgot about it). Whenever he comes in he seems all interested in programming and stuff, he was always messaging me showing me stuff. Also he literally lives like 10 miles from me, he was always telling me we should meet up and hang out but we never made time to. I miss Clwe so much, he just disappeared in late 05... I know he came back for the new forums, though. Such an amazing guy, he was so genuinely nice and helpful all the time. I was just remembering him earlier for some reason, I remembered when I would talk to him on AIM he would type out these huge paragraphs rather than breaking multiple sentences up into separate messages... he typed fast as a demon, it was ridiculous. I've never known someone who could type so much in such a short amount of time. Also his tutorials and games were spectacular. One Girl Army, anyone? I miss TRD too. He was such a n00b when he first joined, but we transformed him into such a great member. I miss when Brad used to call him TuRD. I really miss seeing Gamerdude around here too. I still talk with him on AIM though (I swear he's like the greatest person in existence), he's been super busy lately applying for internships and he just got one! I still talk to SefirothDB on MSN from time to time... no idea what he's up to, I should ask cause I miss him a lot too. So much talent. And he was so fucking modest, he really thought he wasn't that great at all. I miss MikeL and Lightning, those guys made me laugh a lot. Supachao was the MAN. I miss Shadow of a Hedgehog, that project looked so promising. And he had some awesome side projects too. Seriously such an awesome guy. I'd love to know what he's up to. I also want to say that I think it's ridiculous that Blyde and Aaron haven't decided to meet up and hang out, really. I used to IM them blyde like WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW? IF THE ANSWER ISN'T HANGING OUT WITH AARON THEN MAKE THAT THE ANSWER. before blyde went to college we used to talk about meeting up sometime, since besides RC he lived closer to me than any other SFGHQer (only about an hour away)... that never worked out either though and he lives a thousand miles away now :< but... but I don't live in nebraska :< I'd actually love to meet some of you guys. I think it'll be a crime if I don't road trip my ass to Lark's house over the summer, he's also one of the coolest guys in existence. I should just organize this meet-up with Gamerdude, Blyde, and Lark, it would be awesome. We're all not that far from each other.

I have yet to see a valid reason as to why he shouldn't have been banned or what better action could have been taken. I needed to do something to stop the spamming, and all he was saying on AIM was BAN ME BAN ME BAN ME OR I'LL NEVER STOP I don't like this either and I'm open to suggestions, but you "whiners" (yes, that term is applicable here) have nothing to say other than OMG NAZI FORUM MODERATORS!!!11!11 Give me something constructive. Respond to my last post. Oh, and for the record, until the end of the conversation I was telling him that I didn't want him banned and he could appeal his ban at any time by messaging me (that's in his ban message, too). Bottom line is, he's allowed back in whenever he wants to - he just needs to talk to me first. He's not here because he doesn't want to be. He said he's done with this place even before his permaban (which I'll repeat again that he requested, and even forced on me). Because, you know, we don't like it when he derails threads with OMG NERDS and stuff. Not even because it's offensive, it's just annoying and derails threads. If I were to ban him silently, people would be confused about the situation. This thread exists so that people know exactly what happened. And I honestly am open to any suggestions. I just want more than passive aggressive bitching about how andrew can't post anymore because we're "micromanaging" everything people say. edit: I don't know how many times I have to say Streak ASKED for his ban even before the first 3 day temp ban. He got himself banned because he's angsty or something. Really, since we started talking to him on AIM about how he was derailing threads before calling him out on the forums, his attitude was "well ban me if you don't like it, I'll never stop." If you think we're wrong in the way we dealt with this situation, give us a reason or shut your mouths.

We approached streak on AIM several times politely asking if he could stop, but even from the get-go he was saying "just ban me, stop being lenient." He refuses to be told to behave, doing so just makes him do whatever you don't want to him to do ten times worse. Derailing threads is a problem, Andrew. We asked him to stop several times, and eventually Brad came in and gave him a 3 day temp ban. That made him come back and spam the hell out of the threads some more (just as they were starting to get back on topic), and we talked to him on AIM asking him to stop. So there was lots of drama in the usernames and why are you here threads revolving streak leading to him being banned (by request - after his initial 3 day temp ban, he made it clear that he'd troll/spam the forum until we gave him the boot) in those two threads. I left the mess in there just so people could see what happened and not be confused, but I planned on cleaning the threads up afterward so that the threads could resume where they had left off. It looks like another admin just locked both threads though, which is not what I wanted at all. I cleaned them up and unlocked them both now. I'm just making this thread because I'd like people to know those threads are safe to post in now and I'd like to keep them going since they were great for discussion and lasted a while. I know the usernames thread has been around for some time and has run its course, but I'm sure the "why are you here" thread still has a lot of potential for discussion. I'm going to post in there soon too... but I'll wait till I'm more free to do so. anyway this is just a little announcement I'm making so people can try to revive those threads. I want to thank everyone who did post after the mess for ignoring it and trying to continue the discussion - your posts haven't been deleted and thanks for keeping things going if anyone wants a specific post of theirs undeleted, just let me know. I might have deleted a post unnecessarily among the off topic ones anyway I plan on deleting this thread in a couple days, this is just for people to see right now edit: any questions regarding the drama/situation can be addressed here too. second edit: I also want to say that Streak is still able to appeal his ban at any time, just like any other banned member who didn't ban-dodge. Steven, your game looks awesome. I love the tinted black and white look. I can't wait to play it. And Inferno, your fighting engines always look good. The HUD graphics look fantastic! We never get to try out your games though, you should whip up a demo for us

BUT I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THIEVERY IS OKAY ACCORDING TO NIEVES I actually don't care, it just doesn't fit at all with the color scheme of your level. Why not go back to the original EHZ palette? the purple just looks out of place. edit: And Asuma, that Sonic sprite is AWESOME. I dig the lives icon too.
