I edited one of the flashback shots from the game in an effort to make it as if it were an actual case. Methinks I need to clean up the hair a bit. Also, I'm planning on doing some of the other shots, too.

How much does SAI cost (if it costs money at all)?

I'm not sure yet on the engine. Do you think PyWright would be better than CaseMaker?

A sprite for a Phoenix Wright case I'm making. This is a witness, Arthur "Art" Drew.

Another Graphics Request (VERY DIFFICULT)
VirtAnderson replied to Delta Hedgehog's topic in Game Project Assistance
http://www.spriters-resource.com/genesis/sockettimedom/sheet/40158 there's no graphics in the .zip file included on the Spriter's Resource..? -
What program do you use to make your art? Sorry if this has been answered before.

It looks awesome! Nice job!

This is a sillier one. I say that because Phoenix Wright and Winston Payne have very different body structures, so Nick's head looks huuuuuge.

They're not the best, but I felt like sharing them. To make them I pasted parts of one character's sprite onto the other's, then swapped the colors of the rest of the sprite. Not too difficult to make.

Gah, ila, I was just about to post that. It's kinda funny, though. Imagine if they used that kind of animation (but better lighting, of course) in a Sonic movie. That'd be cool.

I don't like how you're constantly re-using official graphics for title screens and cutscenes. If you need any graphics, such as a new title screen, I'm willing to help.

It's kind of hard to tell that says "Sonic Advance Zero" since zeroes are more ovalish and less circly. O 0 see what I mean?

I don't know where keys on a piano are placed. Sorry.

I drew this today using my new tablet. I made one eye taller than the other by mistake. I had a Trans-Cyberian Orchestra song in the background (I think it was Trans, not sure.) for inspiration.C&C?

That's pretty good! I like your art style!

I really like that robot model, Gungriffon. It really feels like an older PS2/N64 model. Is that what you were going for?

If there are any younger characters, I might be able to do some voice acting. My voice is higher, so I sound like a littler kid. If you have any of those kinds of characters, I'd be glad to help.

SonicGDK 1.20.109 (along with playable levels inside)
VirtAnderson replied to Xaklse's topic in Game Project Showcase
I put the folders that came in the zip into the UDK-2011-06 folder. Then I went into Unreal Frontend and performed a complete recompile. EDIT: It loaded when I ran it this time. I was in the test level just fine, with the Colors model also working. There was a suspicious, large ring in the stage that I hadn't seen before, so I jumped into it, and I was taken to a futuristic level full of guns and junk. I got a rocket launcher, and whenever I jumped, I shot a rocket. I guess level files intertwined and caused some sort of error. EDIT2: This was the big ring I saw. It was teleporting around that small area. It wasn't there the last time I had played GDK. This is the area it teleported me to. You can see one of the guns in the background there. Is this place part of Unreal Tournament 3 or something? There's also another large ring on a spiral area that fades the screen to white then starts over the level on contact with the player. -
No, I'm not working with anybody else at the moment.

SonicGDK 1.20.109 (along with playable levels inside)
VirtAnderson replied to Xaklse's topic in Game Project Showcase
I ran the .bat file, but UDK isn't responding. It's been not responding for... two minutes or so now. The readme file said it would take a long time, but I wasn't it expecting to take this long! EDIT: Quick question, can Sonic GDK automatically load more levels or would the player have to load each level manually (in a finished product)? -
SonicGDK 1.20.109 (along with playable levels inside)
VirtAnderson replied to Xaklse's topic in Game Project Showcase
Sorry, I know this is dumb, but I can't find the SonicGDK .exe file anywhere. Help? -
There's no other engine? Well that stinks, considering various things. One of them being I have no idea how to work with UDK.

Try around the Spriter's Resource community. They have a Sounds resource, and plenty of skilled sound rippers. They could give you some info. By the way, welcome to the Sonic Fan Games HQ.

I need a "2.5-d Sonic Engine," if you will. What I mean by 2.5-d is that it's sidescrolling, but it uses 3D models. I don't want something fantastic like Sonic GDK, I just need something that has the right physics and supports the use of 3D models. BTW, I'm going to be working with relatively-lowpoly models, in case that affects it in any way, shape, or form. Thanks in advance!

WarioWare D.I.Y. Making a couple games and some comics. I'm no good at music, lol.
