I don't think your game stands up at all well in that trailer when you put it up against the official Adventure games, and that's even though they're a decade old.

Does it say this on the page about Portal being free? You get the SDK if you pay for a Valve product. I did not pay for Portal, therefore I neither have, nor do I see any options for, the Source SDK. Indeed, but I do believe you don't get the Source SDK with the free version (at least I didn't).

Yeah, I'd go as far as to call the special stage music a remix. If this music is what it says it is though, damn some of it is bad.

No, which is really surprising. It's rather like how the BBC covertly encourages "Doctor Who" fan fiction (and has even run fanfic competitions in the past). I know some companies (like Square-Enix) are very hostile towards fan games. Bear in mind the Silver Lining people did have an agreement with Vivendi (who owned Sierra and now own Activision) though.
