  5. Because Retro Sonic on the Dreamcast was a big hit in the Homebrew scene, even though it was just a port of emerald Hill zone, IIRC, it was still pretty badass.
  6. The Self bootable doesn't seem to Boot on the actual Hardware nor on a emulator. It just goes to the Music Player, I assume it's a Self booting disc since it's in .nrg format. Oh and might one of the Levels be Egg Garden?
  7. Ah, I got confused with this merge, I thought Retro Sonic and RSXB were still too separate games. So I haven't kept up with the news, are levels from Retro Sonic going to be RSXG, in that case? This is kind of off-topic, but you don't have a Non-Self Booting copy of Retro Sonic for the Dreamcast laying around do you? I can only find the SB ones and I well wanted to make a SBI (Self Boot Inducer) out of the Non-Self Booting one.

  9. To be honest, I think this skin should be the default skin instead of that dark dingy skin. This skin is so much more appealing! Anyone else agree with me?

  17. Ah right. Well, I won't use a sky gradient, not too sure how I could go about changing the ocean gradient though, I'll have a go some time.
  18. Whoops sorry about that ZFG. Also, are you dragging your Lua folder into the love.exe? I misread the tutorial the first time and thought it meant to drag the .lua file, itself. >.<

Although the shadows and light source on the loops could do with a bit of work, the shadows look like the edges are burnt. =P Oh and one more question, relating to the previous screenshot, when you go into the Zone 1 area, I'm guessing the art used in the wrap zone would be the art used in the actual level, right?
  20. Ah, this is actually pretty useful for me, since I'm a lua "coder" for the PSP, in fact my current project my game is coded in Lua. This would be useful for my PC Port of the game, since it would mean optimizations in the PC Port instead of just running it through a bog-standard Lua Player for Windows. Thanks for showing this!
  21. Ah you're on about the little sparkles in the ocean, well all they are really are just gradients going inwards, is there anything specific that you can put your finger on, I can't see what's so wrong about them. :S
