Does Sonic Generations still hold up in 2019?

Sonic Generations was released in 2011 and was met with acclaim from fans along with good scores from critics. It was praised for quite some time, however it has been almost 8 years since Sonic Generations was released. Do you think it still holds up today?

For me yeah. It's still one of my favorite 3D Sonic games. Only complaint is that it was to short of a game. Shame they never added more levels as DLC.

I kinda hate how it started the trend of nostalgia-fests, since now nothing has been very original in sonic anymore.

The lack of DLC was a huge missed opportunity honestly.

It was a fun game but a bit short TBH, although I did like it. I might play it again soon.
