Sonic Adventure remake. Another 2D game by the Mania team would be great too.

They have now confirmed that a new game is in development but gave no details. Doubt were getting anything this year. Probably not until next year or maybe not even until 2021 for Sonics 30th Anniversary.

For me yeah. It's still one of my favorite 3D Sonic games. Only complaint is that it was to short of a game. Shame they never added more levels as DLC.

I think its to soon unless they were already working on something before Forces even released.

I just hope it isnt a movie tie in. Kind of wish we could get another anime.

Hope things work out. SoaH will be hitting it's 20th anniversary at the end of the year.

Weird I thought they would be announcing the PS5. I'm still holding off on getting a PS4 and have been thinking of just waiting for the PS5.

I heard Spielberg would be involved when I first heard about it. No idea about the writers.

I'm talking about a mode where you can just do normal races without having teams.

I'm really hoping Jim Carrey plays Eggman (not sure if it's been officially announced or not yet), that me amazing.

I'm hoping there's a single race mode included and the ability to make custom teams outside of the story mode. Those two things will be the deciding factor on wether I get the game right away or wait for a price drop.

I thought it was coming out the 17th? Regardless I'll be picking up the physical version for the Switch.

Unless it's announced soon I have a feeling were not getting a main game this year. Which may actually be a better thing if they're actually taking time with the next big game instead of trying to rush it out for a holiday release. Perhaps in the meantime they'll release some more mobile games like Sonic Grind or Sonic Rolls.

I've been a Sonic fan since the beggining and I was happy probably up until the time Shadow the Hedgehog came out. Then extremely unhappy when Sonic 06 came out, sort of so-so when Unleashed came out and back to happy once Colors and Generations came out.

2D or 3D style? I'd actually love to see a game that plays sort of like the old 2D Shinobi games mixed with the old 2D Sonic games and starring Espio.

I could go on and on about my favorite music tracks from the Sonic series. Music is one of my favorite things about the series. Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2 are probably the games with my absolute favorite soundtracks. A few other of my favorite tracks are Chemical Plant Zone and Mystic Caves Zone from Sonic 2, Mystic Mansion from Sonic Heroes, and the third act of Sunset Park from Sonic Triple Trouble. Some of my favorite vocal tracks are Live and Learn, This Machine, Waking Up, Choosen One, and the Crush 40 version of His World.

I've been posting on Sonic forums since before Sonic Adventure 2 came out and trust me I've come across quite a few stupid people over the years.

Some fans do think that it's the title that makes the game. I use to post on the Sega Forums and there were a bunch of people saying Sonic Adventure 3 would be the best game ever just because it's Sonic Adventure 3. I did enjoy the first two Adventure games but I don't want them to return to the old outdated gameplay.

Please no Sonic Adventure 3. I honestly don't understand how members of the fanbase think that a game being titled "Sonic Adventure 3" is going to magicaly make the game good.

Just read on Sonic Stadium that the next big Sonic title may be announced some time next month. Possibly on Hedgehog Day (February 2nd) or at some other point in February. The article states the new game is coming later this year to Wii U, PS3, 360, 3DS, PS Vita, PC, and “Next Gen” consoles. Apparently it’s going to continue with the game play formula of Sonic Unleashed, Colors, and Generations and the stages will have multiple routes again as well as multiple exits that lead to different stages. Another interesting thing to mention is we may be getting to play as character other than Sonic this time around. Again as stated in the topic title this is all just a rumor. Here’s the obligatory “Favorite Character” thread I’ve seen a thousand times over the years. It would have been made eventually so we might as well get it started early on. Anyway who is your favorite character (or characters) from the Sonic series and why? My favorite is Knuckles, I’ve liked him ever since his debut in Sonic 3. Just thought the dude was awesome when he burst through the ground and hit Sonic so hard he was able to knock him right out of his Super form. Then when Sonic and Knuckles came out and I got to play as him I began to like him even more. I admit I don’t like the way he has been betrayed in more recent games and wish he would become more important to the series again but overall he is my favorite character. Second favorite is Espio. I just found his character to be unique and original when he first debuted. All the other characters did the spindash and this guy was revving up to do a tornado attack instead. I also like how they turned him into a ninja once he returned in Heroes. Third favorite is Sonic himself. First game I ever played in the series was the original Sonic the Hedgehog so I obviously had to like the character or I would have never bought any of the sequels.

I played this game awhile back and enjoyed it quite a bit, think I'll try it again to hear the custom soundtrack. I remember the version I played having a lot of tracks from Kirby games, unless I'm mistaking and thinking of another Sonic fan game I played.

I'll be honest and say I'm not really that far into the actual game it's self. One of the new things you can do in this game is hunt wild and animals and I find myself doing that instead of continuing the story. As I normally do in these games I screw around for hours at a time before actually advancing with the story. I have enjoyed the game thus far though. For Dead or Alive 5 I’ve liked it for the most part, I’ve enjoyed in more than DOA4 but I still consider Ultimate to be my favorite Dead or Alive game in the series.
