Kessler12
Any suggestions on what type of windows[sorry apple] laptop I should get? I need something that can run Unity and mmf2. Something like Alien-Ware (my co-worker keep telling me not to get it) PS: Im not cheap!
SaitoSan
Well i have a Sony Vaio Laptop which runs what you're asking. It depends if you're looking for something stylish but powerful.

TailsSena
Mine is a Toshiba Satellite. It runs everything this forum has put out except for Small World, and we still don't know why.
GSF
Pretty much any present-day laptop should be able to run mmf2 without issues. You should check what OS it comes with (if it's windows starter, dump it), how much RAM it has, and the GPU/CPU it comes with. Compare this to the Unity requirements. And about brands, I don't know about alienware, but I recommend anything that is not acer or dell. @Sena: That's odd. Any error messages?

Alien-ware is part of Dell. Thanks all
Ristar
if you're not going to college/university anytime soon I'd put the money towards a sweet-ass desktop. you can upgrade it if you need to and it'll serve you well for a hell of a lot longer than a laptop.
