Floofy
This has been been bugging me for quite some time, I always hear everyone talking about HWA, but my searches reveal no results as to what it is, or where to download it. Could anyone offer me some of their knowledge on the subject?
USC
HardWare Accelerated runtime is what it stands for; it's an API from DirectX. Here's a little more info on it... http://www.fusionwiki.com/wiki/Multimedia_Fusion_3#Using_the_advantages_of_HWA
Techokami
Hardware Acceleration moves graphic rendering away from the CPU and onto the GPU (the video card). You will need a video card capable of DirectX 8 to use this, but that should not be a problem in this day and age!
Floofy
So to enable this would it be as simple as setting the display mode to direct X? Or is it more complicated than that?
TailsSena
Update MMF2. The newest build of the regular version includes HWA features. It includes DirectX 8 and 9 runtimes, as well as the ability to change sprite effects (like add, and semi-transparent) from within the runtime. EDIT: btw, I use it myself, It's build R253. Happy Googling!

XeroNazoBlaze
You can use shaders and stuff. Since graphic processing is managed by the GPU instead of the CPU, FPS during runtime isn't affected. For example, if the program is rotating many active objects it doesn't get slowdowns. TailsSena
But, the latest is R254... Ohp. Sorry. I was just using what MMF2 told me. But that does look like where I got the update.
