Long story short, all gawker account email addresses are compromised along with weak passwords (possibly all passwords even, but unlikely), so it's a good idea to tighten up the passwords on any email accounts you've used weak passwords on if you used your email address with that network (and especially with a weak password).

My Gmail account is currently locked on account of attempts to use a weak password (luckily I use a much stronger password for email... unluckily my account is still locked until I can bum someone with a wireless phone and unlimited text messaging to do me a favor) to break in.

Also, any accounts that share the email address in a usable or visible way should be similarly secured.

They disabled Facebook Connect as a result of this, so I'm having to use a new account. :/ Kinda sucks, as I "lost" my star power in this whole ordeal.
