Kii64
Hey guys, Kii64 here, I was wondering, is there a tutorial on how to do Jump Panels like from SonicAdventureDX or Sonic 2006 ? If not, could someone demonstrate or give me a rough idea on how to make it myself? Thanks in advance.

Eminence
First off, ask yourself what you are trying to accomplish? Move Sonic from Point A to Point B. Then get the information you need. 1.) Get the X , Y Coordinates of Point A. 2.) Get the X , Y Coordinates of Point B. We know our points now we just need to move Sonic's X and Y Coordinates until they are equal to point B. What we do now is either add or subtract to Sonic's X , Y values until they are equal to Point B's. That's the gist of it. You'll have to make it all smooth and whatnot ; make sure Sonic is facing the right direction. But hey... I'm not making your game for you. EDIT: If you're using MMF; I can make a tutorial on this for you later once I get off work.

luksamuk
Kii, if you're using a common 360° static engine, like Damizean's, you should look for the values "FloatX" and "FloatY" to do so. Just merge it with some predefined actions to help you change the animations.

emersion
LH, don't you need a moving sensor to to make the player stick with the FloatX FloatY values?
