Decided to use lava reef rocks. But I think I'll replace them with custom ones later.

Well you're right about the colour. But splitting rocks in this way doesn't seem right to me. I want to make it look more like this:

I've made some images representing zones from our beloved Genesis Sonic games. I hope you will like it! Actually, I haven't finished yet. I'm going to make all Sonic 2 and S3&K levels in similar style.
