  1. The OST is out finally. Whilst you bother to find a working link, let's listen to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7aS0c9A2dY NUDISTOOOOOOOOO BEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACH
  2. Mako is the best thing in Kill la Kill and if you don't think that's the case well you have a problem. (I haven't forgotten about Nonon though)
  3. It hasn't been left out. There has been discussion over RAGE, and a few ideas were thrown around. Not everything is going to be announced right now, and RAGE might well be one of those.
  4. There have been various issues with Skype recently. I've heard a few people say that messages weren't going through, this included actual calls and not just the PM system. Not sure if it was fixed though.
  5. If I can provide some sort of input, this is a rather confusing issue on both sides. I was discussing a few things with Shadix regarding a possible tie-in with the Hacking Contest's interactive voting week (which right now will probably be hosted at the SSRG) and results show that is in the works, but now his involvement is unknown? I enjoy SAGE every year as it's generally the only week that many members of the community will join together and engage in good activities whilst taking part in many functions on offer. Even I try to get involved, regardless if it was a question, a submission in the TSSZ joke contest or the radio show I worked on with someone. My idea was put forward because of this, and the potential voters that we could get, as hacks do get submitted to SAGE too. For reference, my idea was put forward to Scarred Sun too in a way for -----, but from what I got back it seems that it wasn't needed or wanted. But yeah, hopefully things can be ironed out so that both events can be put on without any problems. SAGE is a staple of the year, it cannot be missed out. If anyone has an issue with what I said in this post, feel free to remove it. It's my opinion and suggestions, that's all. I'm not trying to cause any problems, regardless of what some people may think.
  6. Ken Balough is a controversal guy. He said that the fans wanted classic elements like dash pads and homing attack in Sonic the Hedgehog 4. He also said that it was truly Sonic the Hedgehog 4 as you imagined it. Really? On Friday at 8-10PM ET, SOTI, Moonshadow Caz and a few others bring you The Ken Balough Show. Our fake Ken Balough will be reviewing the SAGE games on offers as well as other things including an interview session regarding Sonic 4 and so much more! Listen to us at: http://rc.soniceatsrings.com:8000/listen.pls This is truly SAGE as you imagined it.
  7. This hack was done in a week. The boost button is in line for the next release.
  8. Funny thing is, Iizuka told the Dimps level designers to go for Sonic 2-like level design for Sonic 4 and look at what they did. Classic Dimps. =P
  9. Just a note, there will be a bugfix release fixing a few issues that the current build has. A few issues have already been noted and fixed, with more still to come.
  10. Looks like you skipped the hundreds of users complaining about Dimps around the community. It's only a joke, lighten up. Zones after that are dashpad hell too.
  11. Since the SAGE forum isn't up yet, I guess I'll just post my thing here. Considering that a screenshot and a video has caused a lot of reactions in the screenshot thread, I've decided to make a topic out of this to prevent things from clogging up. Why is this hack being created? The idea for this hack came when I wanted to do something for the hacking contest which didn't involve innuendo special stages and a slideshow that you've probably seen and had to bleach your eyes after viewing. So, why don't I take the piss out of Dimps! We all know how bad Dimps are with Sonic games, such as placing speed boosters everywhere for no reason other to hide their shitty physics. As well as that, their latest game Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has caused a lot of fuss with their choice of objects too as well as poor physics, dust and a lot of other stuff. Features: Here is what has been implemented in the game so far: - Freshly programmed speed boosters which will be in every level (except Sky Chase Zone since the level is played on top of the Tornado). - Homing Attack which can be abused just like Sonic 4 forces you to. - The Sonic 4 version of the spikeless Bubbles badnik, available in Metropolis Zone Act 3 in this release in an area where you will be forced to rebound off them or die. - Sonic only gameplay (The removal of Tails as a playable character was actually because Tails' VRAM space is used for the dash pads) - A botched up soundtrack, much like Jun Senoue's soundtrack in Sonic the Hedgehog 4. - Boss theme replaced with a port of the Sonic 3D unused track which is being used as a boss theme for Sonic 4. - A few physics tweaks to dumb down the game. - Title screen menu removed (no point for 2P mode and the options menu). - Misplaced sound effects for a few things. Screenshots: For more information, including the download, videos and credits, click here. As Ken Balough would say, this is truly Sonic the Hedgehog 2 as you imagined it.
  12. Since ROM hacks are aloud I might just use my idea I had for the hacking contest and submit it here - except with a few tweaks to make it suitable for RAGE.
  13. Staff: Please move this to the appropiate forum if this is the incorrect place. Anyway, I've played some fan games & I like them, currently I'm a (shit) ROM Hacker & that does come with tons of limitations, so I'm a bit interested in some fangaming. In other words, what would I need? Sorry, I'm a newbie to this but I just want to try this out if you don't mind. Thanks.
  14. Alright, I may not be on this board a lot but I've got stuff to say, mostly covering said stuff. I've seen a lot of negative reactions to this project, but we did get some on Retro too, such as refusing to add Adventure style elements to the people who were getting involved in the project. You've all got your own opinions, the main point of the Sonic 4 Project is to be community-based, people are joining the project forums, some lucky people'll end up becoming part of the team & contributing good stuff to the project. I rarely play fangames, the ones I've got is Sonic XG, Retro Sonic & Sonic Nexus, other than that I have tons of ROM hacks. These fangames that I mentioned have good features, a good concept, that's what Sonic 4's trying to be. We're not trying to say "ha ha we are superior than you ha ha" but have you seen contributions made to the project? It doesn't matter what field it is in ie: art, music, descriptions, people are contributing to it & are showing that Sonic 4 could work. That's what I'm saying, I suck at typing long posts so cocks.
  15. I dunno who you are, but happy birthday & here's the Death Abacus.
