  1. Really, I'm getting crazy thinking about the correct gameplay. It's really hard. I will need opinions, advices or something, because I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO xDD well, I'm going to release the work I have now, then, I hope some of you will give me ideas xD EDIT: All solved!! this will be the gameplay: by default, the rest of characters won't follow you, but you can switch this option by pressing "c". The AI will be "modified"-->Only two options, or get stuck in place or be on team formation, this will make the three characters go together everywhere. Meanwhile I programme all this, here's the test demo: Controls: -Arrows to move. -A for jump and homingAttacking (for monitors). -S and D for character switching. -W+(A or D) to switch the camera between characters. -F for debug calling of the other characters. You must keep all characters alive. If someone falls outside room, the game is restarted. When you must fall, is when you have reached the goal ring xD The switch-open doors system must be improved, but works fine. The stage is a shit, but is the basic idea on I'm working. The stages, of course, will combine platform and puzzle sections with speed runs. Comments?...... SGHTestDemo.rar
  2. Well, i've said that you can check the other characters place before switching. If I make it 100% like SH gameplay, all the game becomes a shit, because a lot of puzzles will be imposible to solve...in some places you need to keep all characters on each place. no way if each time you switch, all characters comes next to you
  3. Your wrong. In the original engine the camera only can follow the first character and you can't do anything with that. I remind you that in the engine, in the scripts and in the objPlayer code, things are programmed depending on if you are "global.FirstCharacter" or second. (or global.Player1 or 2) There's more than a simple camera switching, you need to change more code to make all work well. And about AeroGP said, I repeat, team skills are not implemented yet that means I'm planning to imput them, be patient please xDD

  5. Check this out: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=AxZj6EbWiI4 Here's my last try to make a different fangame. One of the best Sonic engines ever made, modified to emulate the Sonic Heroes Gameplay. What you can see in the video: -RingLoss system. -Shield for the three characters. -RealTime character changing. -You can order to the rest of the party to stay stuck on it's current place. -Also, you can check the characters place before changing. -In the right-down corner you can see the character you are controlling. The team and the individual skills are not implemented yet, however, the posibilities of this engine are unlimited to make a nice Sonic game, I think. Before release a test demo, I will make more inprovements in control, and if I can, in the character skills. Well, after release that demo, all help in art or level design will be welcome. Bye!
  6. I just noticed something watching the werehog video...I think I played this game before...yeah, it's a photocopy (in color) of god of war gameplay!! You push three buttons and you have a super combo to beat all enemies around you, and to open the doors, it is exactly the same xD

  12. Not really. Since I'm here, I've seen a lot of people criticising the upcoming things, like some stuff of sonic unleashed. Also, some people is too rudy with some members of this community. I know I've not been enough time here to talk about this, but it's what I feel xD Now, I see this negative opinions about something. Sorry, it's only I'm not used to see something like that... That's all.
  13. Oh, you are always complaining about everything!!! xDD You are always complaining, but, someone of you tried to think as the stylist of the movie? What hair would you make?? This is a very difficult choice. And, if it's suposed that all should be as real as it's possible, I think the hair looks nice. Well, just wait for the first trailer
  14. Yeaah your game rocks!! I only player Green Hill and the begining of Marble, but I enjoyed it a lot. There's some bugs, as it's said above, like the collision with the spikes after you were hurt and also a minor problem with the rails when going up (jumping, not grinding),but really great (and really speedy) game. Nice graphics and story scenes too. You worked hard and the result is impressive.

  16. I recommend you not to change the engine base. the collision stuff of that engine is primitive xD and sometimes fails. Trust me, the only advantage I see in the old engine is the animation formula. Talking about movement, the revival engine is too much better. But, if you succed in create a better engine, I will be the first in applaud you! bye!!
