  1. Sonic Advance 1 was indeed really great. Sadv2, on the other hand, was hold-right-world. I won't even bring up Sadv3. Sonic 4 looks fun, may buy.
  2. I'm actually really liking that Sonic 1 sprite edit. It gives a fresh spin on the design, and with just those modifications already looks like the Unleashed design.

  13. When did this become a topic about sailboats? Anyways, I got to level 100 with Bonzo last night, and I finally got to the car wash level. The Michael Jackson boss was incredibly hard, though.

That's another thing that's actually being fixed really soon, because we have a programmer that's already tightened the movement and turning in Blitzsonic with his own edit, but since one programmer is currently working on the build we haven't got to it yet. And if you're referencing the camera turning as you press left or right, I understand that problem. That's just how we have it set by default. There will be an options menu to customize camera/movement controls and many other things as well quite soon enough. Plus, a question: when will SAGE 2010 be? The team is planning on completing a small demo just in time for then.
  15. Understand though that naturally in the Genesis titles, Sonic has a high acceleration but not so high of a deceleration. The high speed is all in manuevering the rolling, of course. Yeah, that's because by default the engine makes the animation speed equal to the speed you are going, but it's incredibly easy to fix. We'll fix that soon enough.

This is a highly revised list of what's to come in this project. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sonic FreeRunner is a mass project made by heavily modifying Mark and Damizean's BlitzSonic engine; built for the sole purpose of translating classic Sonic gameplay into the third dimension with little to no flaws, and possibly advancing beyond that level. We need (more professional) people to help model/design/code for our project, as well as some comments and critique on the game. Any questions or suggestions?   19. Aw, come on guys. Very surreal environments, Sonic and Tails are running side by side, and from what we hear it'll play like Sonic Unleashed (daytime) + Mario Galaxy with alien blobs that give you the ability to leave trails of light and use them like powerups. How is this not awesome?! ...Oh. The name. I see.
  20. Glad you guys like my works. Me and some RL friends of mine. Guess who I am. So not the guy with the Sonic shirt on. And my pride and joy, Mega Guy. He was designed originally by Hinchy and Jeztac in an attempt to make a Mega Man ripoff. And what kind of Mega Man ripoff goes without having an over-the-top masculine western version (like off MM1 & MM2's covers)? So I put him with a super-huge crotch, a leaf blower, a cigar, armor, built-in kevlar-plated nipples, a beta PS3 controller at his side, a machine gun strapped to his right arm, an awesome sword and a black bat, and a KFC Double Down. Manly.

  22. Have I got the chance to say this game looks fantastic? I haven't? Well, it certainly has a very pleasing look to it, and the only two things I have to say that aren't quite right is rehashing the GHZ palmtree and the lives icon looks a little smudged. Besides that, this is a very clean and beautiful game you got here, Toaster!
  23. The textures are going to be changed soon enough. Those were mostly just placeholder. Also, the water's been modified to not look like CapriSun. Blitzmax supports OpenGL, which by what I know will support shaders, special effects and object physics.
