  3. This is rather sexy. I see you're taking inspiration from OVA and SCD Sonic, am I correct? The rounded shoes and straight-edged spines look good in sprite form. Can't wait to see that finished. It's pretty superb so far.
  4. I draw sometimes. I usually do Sonic, Gorillaz, or my own original work. Might as well showcase all the stuff I do then! Sonic stuff: Gorillaz stuff: Original stuff, usually consisting of original characters, and random junk: All of these pictures are of my character, named (guess what) Azukara. He's some sort of modest, helpful homeless nomad that's been living on the street all his life doing dirty jobs to survive. In the night though he pretty much puts on his chained up hoodie and runs parkour-style through the streets at night, serving justice and saving lives like a hobo Batman. Subject due to change. That would be me and several friends of mine in my own style. Gory demon beast like I said in the picture description. erm Improvised making a character the other night. This abomination was created. ..... I think I'll draw him/her more often. Anyways, that's all I got for now. Yes, I know I just killed every one of you'se bandwidth so I'm sorry. :< Just wanted to get everything I've done so far out of the way so I can post new stuff in a not-so-crowded fashion. Hope you all enjoy!

  6. So, just if you guys don't know, the pre-alpha has been released! ^Go there for downloads and the like. So what do you all think of the improvements made to the Blitzsonic engine? How different does it feel to all of you? Btw, this game is almost nothing as it originally was, so don't expect the same thing planned in the beginning. I will explain later, however it is still (and will always remain) a translation of Genesis/MD-style Sonic games into 3D.
  7. You know what I mean. They bounce around just like in the Genesis games. Also yeah, we got rid of the minimap. There was no use for it.

Would have badniks but alas, no modelers to do such badniks. :I There are these things that differentiate it from vanilla Blitzsonic: . completely retooled movement; it controls unlike a hovercraft, alot like SA1 . full classic-styled rolling physics . SA / 3D Blast style Spindash (can change back if you want crouch+jump) . checkpoint and the ability to respawn from it . particle effects . realistic ring loss (as in, they come out and they bounce everywhere) . underwater physics (slowdown, moon jumping, albeit no drowning stuff yet) . a working menu (that is currently being retooled) . "dying" when falling too far off the stage (no more having to respawn!) . monitor display (ala showing your powerup you got temporarily in the HUD) . 1UP stuff That's as much as we are going to give for the pre-alpha build, because nothing else is truly done. This is why we need more programmers and modelers.
  9. @Overbound, holy freaking nuts, if those are supposed to represent how Time Twisted now looks... sign me up, I want to play this game so bad now. Anyways, anyone want to play a pre-alpha build of Sonic Freerunner? We're gonna release an unfinished build some time in the next couple of days.
  10. I'm coming back here to notify that I still need modelers. I need modelers for constructing characters and level layouts. These things are essential to progressing with this game.
  11. McDonald's isn't that bad of a place. At least not as bad as many make it out to be. Their fries are pretty good, and I do like their Double Quarter Pounder and Angus Burgers (the swiss & mushroom and the bacon & cheese are both pretty delish). I suppose I like their chicken too even though it seems they stole it all from Chik-fil-a. No really, their chicken and CFA's chicken taste exactly the same.
  12. In actuality, that hack doesn't really feature the Sonic R / Jam / 3D model at all. It basically just puts the head of said model atop of the SA1 model.

  14. Why not? I don't see any problems with the current color scheme, but I'd still like to hear your suggestion. I have already heard that the orange is too strong and that it needs to be a pale yellow, so yeah. Go ahead.

  18. Basically, it's meant to be a blend of the Sonic 2/3K and the SA1 starpost, as well as having it's own unique attributes to seperate it from the usual. Also, the marker at the top of the starpost is flat shaped. The bar it sits atop of will rotate on an axis, so I hope that answers the question on how the marker will rotate. So I was wondering: would it be best to have yellow at it's base, or just keep the white there? Or would any other colors work as well?
  19. Speaking of other works so far, heres this. Any constructive criticism on this? Any improvements that could be made? By the way, this is only one out of a set two you are supposed to go between (SA-style, where the starposts are lying sideways), and when you touch them they come up, spin and flash red and yellow. Model by SefirothDB.
  20. You may want to make the lightest shade of green on that tree background a shade or two darker, Overbound. Would clash less with a possible foreground.. That is if there's any green in said foreground.

  22. I've always found the physics to be a little bit on the wonky side, but then again it's still endless fun to play no matter that; since the level designs are really fun. I think I may just jump into playing Mission Mode right now!
  23. I think there should be bigger holes, and more in amount. The random clumps of little holes on the foreground look slapped together, and it doesn't really remind me too much of cheese. They remind me of something nasty; like boils or something, which isn't something I like to think about when I see something about food. I like the rest of it though. The cheese wheel is awesome. And I like the concepts at hand but I feel they could use more detail (unless you just haven't got to them yet). A specific example of one that could use more fine-tuning would be the nacho cheese. It looks like plain old orange water. EDIT: Also I'd like to know of any comments and critique on the Egg Capsule I posted earlier. It was modeled by SefirothDB. Oh yeah, and thank you LH for giving it some form of feedback. :>
