  1. Exactly, also, on the first game it was called just Brasonic, at least here in Brazil:
  2. Strife... Duuuuuuuuude. :C I wanna play this. +9001/10
  3. Just searched on Google: "animated background game maker tutorial"
  4. I hope that everything in that screen is separated in layers, man a parallax with those bgs will be awesome :C My only suggestion would be adding some noise to the closer mountain making it looks more like a rock texture. Anyways, Nice work, Strife :3
  5. I'd posted a picture earilier showing something that I'd done recently. People at Retro seemed to like it and since you couldn't get the dadelion stuff movement and the illumination settings on a screenshot, I decided to upload a video to show the environment (which is little, yeah). That's all there is to explain, I guess.
  6. A vid of the dandelion screen posted earlier. Maybe it's because... They're the seaside textures. Well you can mess around with Matinee to make some rain particles... Or try this: A vid showing the particle way:
  7. Lovely. A little bit too much desaturated but still pretty. Nice job, bro. Haunted Hill Zone, huh huh? Oh yeah... Derp... I was thinking on the Labyrinth Zone (don't ask me why)... My bad.
  8. I guess LH is mad because of the pallete. But... Meh it's just some colors, bro. Also, looking very unique, FGR. Need some tweaks here and there like... A better background and some adjustments on the character (It's kinda hunchbacked) And the enemies I supose they're placeholders due the lack of shading, right? Anyways, looking foward to see more.
  9. What I'd been working on the past couple of days. :3
  10. Just Chuck Testa. Sorry, couldn't resist. Nice screens btw, LH. I would just recommend getting more contrast instead of the monochrome filter. I guess MMF2 HWA have a shader to boost up the contrast.
  11. Man I'd always loved this game and now I love it even more. Thanks for the wonderful beta, Pro Shadowblaze. You just made my day. <3 Now I'll go play some more :3
  12. The strange thing about this sprite, even though it looks bad (It's not just the size, I dunno, his belly is loking weird and didn't get the nice shading from the first one), I'd liked his hand. Of course, would need some tweaks to get it in the short Sonic, but I recommend doing it
  13. But the banana peels are te confortable stuff. I mean have you ever realized how soft they are? That's how do we wipe our asses like kings.
  14. >Make a whole comment about the difference about bashing and constructive criticism. >Finish it 'bashing' on the other person. Way to go, bro. What the fuck? Not at all, I love his stuff. All I said was "he likes something and he does it" I didn't said a thing about it. Just used his work to exemplify my point of view.I like this kind of humor, it's the one that makes me laught, it's the one that I perform. If you don't like it, ignore. Try laughing isn't exactly a "Hey dude, laught about it!" it's more of a "hey, try to see my point in here."
  15. I'm not asking you to, pal. You laugh for whatever the shit you find funny. What I meant was: Stop butthurting for an acid comment, I found if funny, I commented. The same way you seem to like robots and big titted woman, and you drawn your stuff.Quit the butthurt, pal. Seriously, just ignore the part of the comment that you found offensive and move on. :3 Also, I didn't assume a thing. All I'd said was that "funny" is a subjective term. Don't put words in my mounth.
  16. "Funny" is too much of a subjective term. So... Hold those ad hominem for yourself. :3
  17. What? Is just some humor... You guys need seriously stop with this white knight attitude, I'm sorry if it offend you people (you and my grandmother, ONLY). But I have an acid sense of humor... Try laughing with me instead of those "hurr durr you are an asshole" type of comments. :3Anyways... This may be a better idea than using the pentool. Just draw your stuff and try to do it in the most solid way possible (not that sketchy thing that people usualy do [not saying that it's wrong]). After that, scan the draw, open it on photoshop, desaturate, adjust the brightness, the curves, etc... Just try to erase the scribbled areas (there will be) and make the outline look better and darker. Then, start your digital painting on the multiply channel, as Rawr said. Simple as that.
  18. Dude... This doesn't look good at all. He doesn't have the "eyebrows", the spines in the back, the stripes on the shoes look terrible and don't seem to have perspective. The arm is too low, the glove and socks have no shape. Sonic have 2 right hands, his nose is off his head. Brotip: If you don't have a pentablet, learn how to draw using the pen tool in photoshop. It will allow you to easily make curves and stuff. Also, study Sonic's anatomy, focus on details, etc... Don't be affraid of spending hours drawing, it's better than make something terribly. For now, call me arrogant, troll, whatever the hell you want, but this drawn looks like crap and if my printer was working, I would print this and use it to wipe my ass after taking a dump. But don't give up.
  19. If Jesus can walk on the water, then you can do it too. Go give it a try.Seriously dude, first of all: Both games use different plataforms, Sonic Fusion is made on Multimedia Fusion 2 and Super Sonic Knockout is made on Game Maker. Secondly the engines settings are a lot different, you can't compare those games. Sonic Fusion's engine was made thinking on the multiplayer when SSK was made more for a singleplayer type of game. Last thing: There are no "s" on "creator". Sonic Fusion is made just by one single person. I do wanna see this game in a multiplayer as bad as anyone else, Junior. But let's not make comments like that anymore, unnecessary and uninformed. And last thing: Don't ever compare fangames like you did. Of course you can say a thing or two like: "Hey, your game looks a lil' bit like that Sonic the Blue Doritos from that guy over the forum." But comparing Fusion, a race-type (normal Sonic) of game with a battle/adventure type, wasn't a smart choice at all. Get it? Got it? Good. ;-) Also... Give us a sneak peek, dude. I can't wait til' SAGE (like... One week).
  20. That's my point, bro. And newbie or not you can always ask and search, you see, the internet is a giant open book, you can find almost everything that you want on it with just a few clicks.Don't be shy to ask and if someone is capable of doing it, they'll... At least here, I guess. Just try first doing it by yourself and studying the engine. :-)
  21. Ok, played this. The homming attack doesn't work at all (at least for me). Everytime or I got stucked in the air, or the foreground went missing and just the background were shown. I'd pressed "A" while the Character Selection was appearing, and got 2 Sonics. There are a lot of tweakings to perform, especially in the animation department (I'd found Sonic's sprites changing to slow, he was "walking" in a "run" speed, those things) the level design looks ok, could be better, have more loops and turns. There isn't much else to comment, I guess so... That's it. Also my game crashed ALOT of times, but people already said that. The other bugs that I'd found, were already posted in here. :3 Good luck with the project.
  22. I find it kinda funny how people say "I don't know how" before even trying to. I mean, like Blaze has said, everything is pretty obvious on the engine. Open the test map and study how things are done and there you go. There is no secret on it, honestly. I'd never even had any contact with UDK before SonicGDK's release, and now I'm pretty sure that I'd learned amost everything on the engine (Still trying to figure out how the cameras works). It isn't hard at all, a little bit of will power and some google searches can lead you to almost anywhere.
