I was wondering if someone could help me with a engine I downloaded then started working on a few days ago. I'm trying to make a Sonic Heroes 2D fan game that has similar things from the real game Sonic Heroes like:
If someone could someone help with:
1. Smart AI Controlled Characters that follow you.
2. Round Clear with score calculation that adds to total score at the end of a stage with a rank of A B C D E depending on how much score and time you got.
3. Character Abilities for example: Blue Tornado - Sonic jumps in the air then spins in a circle and a cyclone appears on top him and enemies near him are tossed up the air then fall back down, the enemy that was hit by Blue tornado loses some health.
4. Enemies that alert when you approach them, and maybe fire a missile at you're character while the enemy is walking. Also large boss like enemies that require patterns to defeat them, for example: In Sonic Heroes there is a large enemy with a giant hammer and a helmet when you approach that enemy it swings it's hammer at you and you can't hit the enemy until you knock him over and break his helmet off then you can take his HP down to 0 mostly with a power character.
5.Checkpoints: When you activate a checkpoint if you fall off a cliff of pit you will come back.
6. Invincibility, Shields, Speed Shoes, and other items from Sonic Heroes...
7.Tails' flying is a little glitchy so if anyone could fix that I'd appreciate it.
If anyone could help me with this engine (I'm currently working on a fan game called Sonic Heroes 2D Adventures, please don't think this is an expert engine, It's only a basic engine for now I plan to create more later on.) please let me know If anyone would want like to help add features on the engine I would really like that a lot. If anybody wants to download my Sonic Heroes engine and work on it, let me know and I will post it.
