  1. I just beat the game it one sitting. Flipping fantastic I tells you.
  2. Well, As I thought about it, On reference, it refers to the "Bulb Fruit" On Mario Galaxy 2. How that one works is that it illuminates dark rooms and invisible paths in a wide radius. But as time passes, the light's radius gets smaller and smaller. This is how I envisioned the Shine wisp but in relation to the cube wisp. It's shining shock wave creates a radius for invisible blocks to appear and in very dark levels, it brightens up the entire level. The blocks also appear and become solid if Sonic happens to touch one. After a wile, the blocks Sonic isn't standing on slowly fades as well as the illuminated level, so it forces you to use the shock wave again and deplete more wisp energy. Time doesn't consume the wisp energy, but using Shine will take a chunk of it away so you can only use it so many times.
  3. Oooh. I'm sorry. I kinda thought it was a bed thing. Please excuse me.
  4. Isn't that the point of this storm? If that's not it, i can be more original with Shine or any other wisp.
  5. Shine: This Wisp power allows Sonic to send off shock waves of light energy, destroying metal blocks and Enemies in it's wake. Unlike Cube, the shock waves spread light to invisible blocks that Sonic can walk on for top secret paths. Tread carefully, as the blocks disappear when Sonic turns to normal.

  7. I don't normally ask for help, but I'm working on something on the side. I can't keep it hidden forever but, I'm rying to remake a Mario Engine I made years ago as "Soniro." My experience in them has long been lost since I've been tinkering with Sonic worlds for so long, and I just want to try relearning a few techniques for collisions and floating points for movement. Could anyone please help me out on this?
  8. That spikes issue is a glitch in the build of worlds he's using, (It's not delta, but I forget what version number it is.) It has a lot to do with the ceiling run coding in that version. At times, it even keeps you from jumping. =/
  9. Do you have any other ways of Contact, Strife? Please sir. We need to talk about this sprite before it gets too far ahead. Is that alright? pm me. As for everyone else, I will bundle up a test exe in the mean time. I'll only link those who are offering with controllers.
  10. I'm not Allowed to Edit Sonic's sprites. Lets leave it at that.
  11. hey, anything constructive you got for us, please share here. Anyway. This is kind of how I edited it. I wanted to help you understand a tad more of what the style is, more or less. Forgive me if I've done wrong though. But eather way, I wonder if you're willing to do more? What you got is rather good, and I don't mind helping you with it.
  12. It's really not a bad try. But I can see the Sonic Advance'ness a tiny bit. If you maybe re-shade the white parts: His gloves and his muzzle, And Eliminate the blue eyes, it would be much more accurate to the Sprite Style Sonic has. Also, For anyone else that still reads, I'm looking for some beta testers. For the most part, they need game controllers of any kind.
  13. They're still helping me still, witch I'm thankful for. But I'm talking about others outside of just them. I have a few sprite artist helping, but they might quit the project if things get too busy for them. I know this isn't a sprite forum or anything, But I'm just asking for connections. Like if anyone knows anyone or anywhere I can go to try and find more willing sprite artist.
  14. A rather Outdated image, but this shows what is a great opportunity for all the players that use game controllers. Especially those that rumble. But I feel it's my responsibility to announce this. We're beginning to decline in the parts of a game that really count, And that's character sprites. A lot of time has passed due to our busy lives. Its coming to the time that most of my valued team members are going to leave this project to catch up to their own needs, And with out them, this game has a chance of stopping cold for the time being. I DO NOT intend to cancel this project for any reason. It took quite a few years for it to even make it to sage 09 when it was just me, and I didn't know very much back then... I'm trying to say that I'm going to need some help. My spriting skills aren't advanced enough to make a good and lengthy character sprite sheet. And My programing skills alone can only go so far. If anyone has anything they can really contribute, a person to know, a place to go, or even some proof of skill, I'll be very grateful.
  15. Return to the Not so Great Falls
  16. Give me a better uploader or file hoster and maybe I won't. Sorry about that, but I Don't have a lot of resorses for file hosting... To answer your questions: 1) We're hoping so. I'm really glad to have a few good spriters helping us. But I'm hoping we'll get to finish all the character sprites before we finish the full game. 2) I still have the old bits and pieces. I think it's worth trying to add it again, after all the work I've put into it. Even Sparks and Lark had helped me on that zone when I first started so it's definitely worth it.
  17. Quest64: Modern Melrod orchestra (Updated version) Quest64: Modern Melrod orchestra (Warning, slightly outdated)
  18. Wario Land 3 Credits: NintendoXSega mix
  19. In my opinion, I prefer D most. it has the richest color scheme, yet I'm getting an Autumn seasoned Temple vibe here. Maybe most of the green schemes need a touch more orange too?
  20. Sonic Zero v.3!!! Hahahaaa!!! AAAHAHAHAHAAAA!!.... Kaboom! For the sake of being fair, it has more acts. the same 1 zone, but with its designated 3 acts.
  21. Seriously guys, You're all mostly talking about old stuff that already happened. It's like the Apocalypse happened years ago and we're still alive just TALKING about what to do instead of doing it. Hell we'd all be dead by now. Or probably zombies that can get wacked by a Mr.Sandman. =P
