  1. Segas track record with its fans liking their games is shit. Segas track reccord in general is not shit, its just Its fans dont like their sonic games. Sega still has fans that buy their games. Sega purchasing atlus is just a Rumour as of now. Atlus wil still be making the Persona/SMT games, not sega. If anything, sega will only publish. and again, ITS ONLY A RUMOUR.
  2. Objection. "- has a rich and robust set of applications" ....which are mostly in-bred coppies of each other, or access to websites you wouldnt NEED in the android..since android has FLASH. "has a great multitude of configurations, meaning programmers have to either program to the lowest common denominator or make a choice of what phones they are program for (e.g. processor speed, multi-touch interface vs. single touch)" then that's the problem of the consumer. They would get the Device that best fits their needs. If youre using a cheap android phone, then you wouldnt HAVE it to play those High-end apps. YOu would have a more powerfull device for that.
  3. The idle sprite seems off, especially in the waist area. The tiles and background are amazing tough.

  5. Im not sure if i shaded it correctly, but with the way i shaded it, 10 pixels looked like a bit too much, so i came up with this: Is this any goood? And yaay new asset.
  6. Well, the art of the first zone in our game, as you probably know, is getting a makeover, here's a mockup on how the floor's coming along. The grass has also been completely re-done. Any opinions/suggestions?

  8. I dont think ill hate you felief for being a furry unless you try to push the belief of "dont hate furries" or :youll like them too" to everyone. I myself learnt thats a stupid thing to do on the brony department. (sorry Serephim if i pissed you off or annoyed)
  9. I actually think he should keep the pit-warnings there. Why? because the worst way of having a player die is by something he had no idea would be there. Trial/error and muscle memory are the worst types of difficulty that the players can possibly have to encounter, it might even make some players rage-quit. A game should have the player feel it was their own fault they lost, so throwing a bottomless pit in, without the players knowing its a horrible way of challenging the player, and its especially noticeable in games like these, where you don't know if there will be a platform down to catch you, or if you'll just die. and that's not really fun, if half of your moves rely on guessing, memorizing and trying again. Games like battletoads suffer this problem heavily.it reppetit I agree on the tile-set being quite a bit repetitive though.
  10. We have a theory on how to get the second one to work, but we havent even been able to get the "seccond" player(a.i. partner) to appear in the frame, so we cant test out how to get it to move yet.
  11. About that, metal will no longer be an unlockable character, poe herr decidedvit was better to have him available at the start from the beginning with mighty, we will have two(Or possibly three) more new characters.

Well, if youre going to keep saying Ftb is a ripoff of bts, then let me drop y and say a few things If youre going by the visual similarities between "robotniks roost" and the final zones in bts, then let me post the process of its design: I redesigned it, made it into a sprite and rounded out the lower area because i didnt like how that looked. So the similarities in that are entirely my fault. If its by art style similarities, then that, for the most part, is intentional. As jass himself posted it in the first post of the thread, the game is meant to be taken as a sort of thank you letter to lake and all the work he and his sound team have done in terms of motivation and inspiration, and for making kickass games, so many similarities in art direction(and maybe story, im not sure) are intentional.

Yes, its pretty much a coincidence, check the old ftb thread if you want to make sure, and trust me, the differences are plenty, mostly the fact that titanic tower and eternal elevatotlr uave vastly different designs. And the spherical part is my fault, the original design seemed a bit too flat so i decided to round up the bottom half, its just a coincidence... A very BIG coincidence mind you, but a coincidence nonetheless ... That and what jass just said
  14. Sorry, but i forgot to mention, Discord is Q from startrek, voice, character and even reaality manipulation, make of that what you will. oh, and lauren faust, who had major roles in "powerpuff girls", and "fosters home for imaginary friends" had a major role in said show.
  15. Let me introduce you to discord, the main enemy of the first two episodes of season 2. His goal? To bring the world into absolute, complete, chaos.. And he succeds, not only that, but he manages to corrupt and the main 6 protagonist to their complete oposites. At least in the first of the two episodes, it looks like the world is doomed. The plots get surprisingly deep for a cartoon for little girls, and each character is surprisingly well-developed, and relatable. By the way, keep in mind this is the NEW my little pony show, not the old one with ridiculously bad stories and characters.

Ahem, you can tell only the top of parhelion peak is on fire, since parhelion peak is a VOLCANO, Storm station crashed onto the city built around the mountain, and THATS why it looks like its frozen over, parhelion peak's special act takes place at the very top, while storm station's takes place on the place where it crashed.
  17. I can tell you changed chao model, looks better. althoufh because of the lighting(or render, idk much about 3d game-making) i can barely tell what his arms/legs/body are. Looks more cute though.
  18. The gradient wont be there, i just added that for a temporary Sky, the background behind the city will be almost coompletely different.
  19. Upon upgrading to sonic worlds delta 1.3.2, mr poetatoebadger and i ran into a problem, here's the message from him detailing the problem:
  20. sorry for doubleposting, but here's another question: would you like to see a local gravity system in the game? (like what sonic xtreme was gonna have and what lost world will have) The local gravity sistem would esentialy give the player the ability to walk on certain walls and floors, a-la Xtreme. Take project Axsx's crystal frost demo as an example of what we'd like to re-create in 2d using sonic worlds(if possible)
  21. This game and Btsa need more love, Ats certainly overshadowed a potential gem like this.
  22. No worries, we will still retain the classic feel of the levels, thing is we want to try something new while retaining the feel of a classic game. [edit] @astropirana: theres a problem with that, the levels would have to be designed around these controls, so having both of them as options would either make the levels un-beatable as classic, or pointles to have the features as "lost world" so we need to shoot for one or the other.
