Jigglypuff, a character i have no experience with.

  3. I should also mention, the boss invurnerability times are way too long, and i can get damaged while hurting enemies due to the boss's invurnerablilty state can still damage you. But the game is getting more fun i can say that.

Psn is randomly up and down. Hopefully it's been fixed.

  6. Or you could make it so he despawns in a different way, considering that method relies way too much on the jump. The death animation also lasts forever. What is this game made in? Is it a pre-made engine, or from scratch? Game maker, Fusion, or something entirely different?
  7. Hope Yall have a sm4shing chrismas

  8. Excuse me but...what? Badniks are a REALLY important part of level design, theyre not just for using them for your advantage, theyre also where the challenge comes from, and where the reactions of the player will come from. for the most part; remove the badniks out of ANY zone in ANY sonic game, and the stages get marginally boring, stale, long and drawn out stages, thats the purpose of badniks, to help make your levels be more interesting, and to an extent, more alive. Disregarding enemies in a sonic game is...well..stupid. Badniks are /not/ something you place willy-nilly wherever you feel like, you have to really think if their placement works with the level desgin, how the player would react to them, how the level design needs to be adjusted with them, etcetera. Badniks /are/ a central part of level design.
  9. I woudlnt call that a good idea, as gimmicks and Enemies are an important part of the level design, and their implementation should affect your level design. Enemies and gimmicks should be made /with/ the level design, not afterwards, otherwise their placement would make no sense and feel intrusive to the level youve already created. Its a bit late of a response to this, but ive just now noticed it so eh.
  10. Havent seen one of these, so here we go. Youve probably had that one game youve played and gone "this game is awesome! cant wait to see what people think of it" only to realize the game didnt do well and nobody played it aside from you, or that game you didnt know even existed that has had no coverage up untill the moment you played it, and still wonder why it didnt get more attention even though you /know/ people had to try it. This is a thread to share those games you /know/ deserve better, but for some reason they just didnt do well. Rules: This is not a "Favourite game of all time" or "worst game ive played" topic, but a thread to post games you really liked, but nobody either heard, or liked. The game MUST be obscure, or rated badly to an extent. Reccomended you avoid sonic games to keep it creative, but feel free to post any if you want. Without further ado; i'll begin: Im amazed this game didnt get more attention or recognition; this game looks amazing, is pretty damn fun and isnt all that expensive, only around $20-25, and its pretty fun and creative to boot. It has an interesting theatre/hand crafted style to it, with everything being narrated, and though at points the voices /might/ be anoying, the game is filled with charm, and memorable characters; and i overlook the voice anoyances i might have. I reccomend this to /any/ fan of platformers, its really worth getting. Shame is Ps3 Exclusive too.
  11. Or theycould..you know..not care.
  12. I think a maximum should be 7 or 10 "acts", no way am i playing 24 stages in one world.
  13. Is the giveaway over? or is there just a problem with the video? and what excacly are the rules if its still going on? Dont see a point to say no to this.
  14. At the very least 06 had a good soundtrack. This game doesnt even have that.
  15. Then i would say you havent played freedom planet. or at least not very much. I really dont want to call the ripoff card, but this isnt even trying to differentiate the gimmicks really, it feels like it was ripped straight from there and implemented as a much lazier version.
  16. Now that i played the game myself i can say that...this game doesnt do a good job of being very..fun or memorable. All the levels feel very cookie-cutter, with some aesthetic changes that dont mean much. The gimmicks and character moveset are straight copies of freedom planet(like the gems in the temple level are straight out of battle glacier, even some of the layout of them is similar). The game also has an overall lack of polish, i found myself getting stuck in slopes all the time or just stopping for no real reason.
  17. Holy shit dude learn how to separate into paragraphs, that shit is hard to read, please.
  18. How high the mighty have fallen, to mere shovelware. This is depressing.
  19. Theres a technique to all of your problems, and the camera thing is also true of fnaf 1. But im not mentioning how, that removes the fun of learning.
  20. You might wanna put that in a spoiler box, game is not even a week old.
  21. Haha fun fact, only one of the people from BRB is actually from naughty dog. The rest are from non-noteworthy game companies, including developers from Battle for Bikini Bottom. Yeah... I like to believe this is Big red Button doing this, considering sega themselves are not in charge of it, but i cant say for sure yet.
  22. This game was in development for three years, folks. Three years. Three goddamn years. So this game being rushes is /not/ the problem, BRB just suck at their job in general.
  23. Not only the demo, /the entire goddamned game is out/. like holy jeesus this man is like lake's granpa or something.
