DMC2 is buggy and not as efficient as DirectShow, which is what I would recommend. Also, the bass.dll file is subject to copyright restrictions. It's best to avoid using DMC2 if you can.

I've used DVD Shrink to copy DVDs across to my Video iPod. You can select English language tracks with that, or indeed any language, and rip those along with the video track. Then you could convert to whatever video format you like from the .vob- most people recommend either Videora or SUPER (which I use). To keep things legal, I'll not post any links but there are plenty of resources out there.

Hmm, I'm completely unconvinced with both Wildfire and Sonic X360 (which, from the gameplay videos, is going to have the exact same problems that have plagued every 3D Sonic game.) Where's the sequel to Sonic Rush that surely someone else besides me is eagerly awaiting?

Excellent engine. It'll be interesting to see if anyone can come up with some decent level design to build on it. Keep up the good work!

Astro Boy: Omega Factor is amazing if you haven't played it yet. It's the only GBA game I have in my DS.
