Perfect Chaos Zero

Yes. Sonic Simulator is in the DS version and is necessary to get the 7th and final chaos emerald. However I've recently come to the conclusion that the DS does NOT have playable Super Sonic in normal levels. Instead, it gets an exclusive Nega Mother Wisp boss that you fight as Super Sonic. How depressing =/ Everything else is pretty awesome in the DS version though. Sonic feels VERY powerful with his ride array of potent, powerful abilities, everything from the Super Sonic Slide (nothing like previous versions of sliding, this version can slide as far as you want it too as long as you don't hit an obstacle, even a loop, goes very fast and does huge damage. Great for dodging boss attacks Mega Man style) to the Ground Smash. Combined with the boosting mechanism (works in the air to great effect, unlike in Rush), Sonic has an armory of awesome abilities that really give him a bad ass feel in the DS version. No idea how it compares to the Wii, but the DS version is pretty good, though a bit short. The exclusive wisps are neat, but not that big of a deal IMO. The DS version has special stages =P Dunno about the Wii, but the DS ones resemble a cross between Sonic 2's special stages and Sonic 3's.

Just wanna point out that finishing a zone in the DS version with 50 rings or more auto-sends you to a special stage (if you want, you even have the option to say no), so that you can collect said Chaos Emerald without using the Sonic Simulator.

Meh, the more the merrier I say. So anyway, I aquired the DS version recently from a european dump and am quite happy with it. The game is very fun, fast paced and generally it's an extra refined, superior version of Sonic Rush, which is by no means a bad thing at all. I haven't tried the Wii version, but this is probably the most fun I've had with a Sonic game since SA. There was some anti-piracy that prevented saving but I managed to get ahold of a hacked version that took care of that. Oh and I read this one book too. In this book, someone PMed this guy, who was posting on this one internet forum about Sonic colors, about getting a patch for a rom of Sonic Colors and wanting a link to it and the guy totally gave it to him. In the book. I wonder if that'd ever happen in real life? Y'know, cause it's an interesting "What If" and all that. I could totally see that happening in real life. Being from a book. Especially since they have to get the rom themselves and the patch is an entirely independent third party thingamajig. <.<

FIFTEEN playable characters? Holy crap! Looks good but don't you think that may be a few too many dudes?

Megaman X already did that. It is the most over powered ability ever if you know how to use it right.

This game would probably be pretty good if it wasn't so god damn short I beat it in a not all that long visit to my brother's house. You know what I wanna see? A Jedi so bad ass he doesn't even use his light saber. He uses his bare hands. Make it like Fist of the North Star. Screw Force Push, that's a force power for wimps. I want Force Kick You In The Fucking Face and Force Punch So Hard Your Chest Explodes. Also, more creative uses of Force Speed and Force Pull, like a Like Star Wars God Hand but with more powers accessible earlier on.The concept of Jedi Martial Arts and using the force to cause physical damage to an opponent within sounds bitchin to me. Force Head Explody ftw.

Actually the whirlpools in question are something of my creation. It involves using a bug with TNT and water that makes it "blow up" water.

Yes, the Walking Dead (based off of the EXCELLENT MOST AMAZING EVER comic book of the same title) was indeed, fucking super awesome. Asside from that I took my little nephew and neice trick or treating and got wasted. Meh, pretty standard really.

So I talked to Smidge about this a while back and we're gonna try and see if we can't find a way to add this to the site as "demo collection packs from the past" or something of that sort. What do you guys think? RARs or zips with about 10-20 games a pop?

Well, Retro tries to put up a front that it's about rom hacks etc. but it's really more of a potpourri of just about everything Sonic related. It's a great site though and certainly one of my favorites, but it does seem like a sister topic here on SFGHQ, being that we're fan game specific, is a bit warranted. It'd be a great way to direct a fan game towards a group of people who are specifically interested in fan gaming.

For a phone I have a rather good recommendation: The LG Rumor Touch from Virgin Mobile. Not only is it a pretty great phone (though perhaps not as good as the Iphone), but the service deal is amazing. Pre-paid, no contract, 25 bucks a month for UNLIMITED, text, e-mail, web, etc. You only get 300 minutes of talk time but for most people like me, who don't even use the "talk" part of their phones all that much anymore, it's a total steal. Especially with free texting and web! After you get that, use the left over cash that you save on the plan and buy a 3DS so you can play the bazillion omgwtf awesome games being released for it.

It's a survival server, only rules are don't fuck up the spawn, steal, be a douchebag, etc. And it won't go full price on Halloween, it MIGHT go into beta and be 15 but probably not yet. Multi player has a shot at having working mobs though.

How has no one mentioned the amazingly epic Katt Williams? Also, Danny Bhoy is pretty good as well. Of course Carlin, everyone likes him but I'm also a fan of Ron White, he's pretty damn funny too. However, I gotta say Katt Williams is probably my favorite.

I added this to the topic above as well but, try and add a short description to what you recommend to give everyone an idea of what they're gonna be looking at or at least listing genre. Some of the ones suggested aren't my "flavor" but I can't say they're not "good" for what they are. Anime is diverse, so it's always good to let people know what they're looking at.
