What's with all the rage in this thread? Honestly, after watching , I gotta say, I find this game to be amazingly hilarious. Plus, the other dude has a bag of milky ways. I've recently begun the acquisition of this game and can't wait to play it personally. It's supposed to be THAT fucking scary according to some, I'll let you all know just how frightening it really is after I play it.

Seeking attention is something people do regardless of whether there is profit to be made or not. I'm not saying they were aiming for "bad attention' though. I'm saying they made a countdown to get people hyped up and gather attention, not anticipating the negative backlash that quickly followed. But they still managed to get a lot of people talking about it and a lot of publicity as a result, so in their main goal, which was to generate a renewed interest in the project, surely succeeded.

For your safety: Make sure your cough syrup only contains DXM and no other active ingredients. Taking it with antihistamine ingredients is actually dangerous and taking it with guaifenesin can cause projectile vomitting. Also, ensure that your dosage is measured out to an appropriate safe level. I recommend either the 2nd plateau, for a mild trip or the third plateau for a more intense experience. What's a plateau? It's basically a dosage range that determines your effects. Basically, you want to calculate this according to your body weight. Remember, 2.2 lbs = 1 kg. Measure as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------ Recommended 2nd Plateau Dosage- 4.5 mg per kilo (Milder, but still plenty effective trip. 2nd plateau CAN range from 2.5-7.5 mg, but 4.5 is my personal suggestion.): 4.5 mg per kg of body weight. So for every kg you weigh, take 4.5 mg of dextromethorphan. If you weigh 130 lbs, that's about 59 kg, so 265 mg. Wat? Or is that supposed to be sand? If it's sand it's just as out of place since the erosion would not allow weird...hills like that to exist. I've done the whole range, from mushrooms to the ever so rare LSD and I gotta say, salvia is not to be trifled with lightly. If you don't have prior experience with drugs of intense psychedelic nature, I have to recommend you stay the hell away. If you're looking to get "high" in a recreational sense, again, you need to stay the hell away from salvia. Take some shrooms or something, it's less super fucked up. Salvia can very easily turn down right scary when you smoke the stronger stuff and the effects, while short, are very, very, intense. The only case I can recommend that shit, is if you're seriously looking for spiritual insight. If this is the case, you need to prepare yourself mentally, be in a good mood and not nervous about what you're about to do at all, otherwise you're going to lose your god damn mind for about 5 minutes. Last time I did salvia, I literally forgot everything. Who I was, where I was, what was happening to me, who the people were around me. I couldn't recognize faces, it seemed like everyone in the world was laughing at me, wanting me to die. I felt as if I'd shrunken down to an incredibly small size and was trapped in the button of a couch. No, I'm not fucking joking. At that point I arrived to the conclusion that I was dead, that I went and killed myself somehow and now everyone was laughing at me, faces and ghosts of the past I could not recognize. I can say that in the primary state of disphoria, no one is going to be able to rip the hair out. You're able to recall what happened, where you came from and if you don't panic, you will be fine. If however, you do panic, which Rael's pal seems to have done, bad things can potentially happen. I like your gimmicks. They add a lot of flavor to the game, even the simpler ones. More fancy gizmos can only make this game better, so keep it up. Also, Tails' act completion victory dance is fucking awesome.

People ask the same question over and over again because he consistantly gives people the run around on the issue and has no legitimate reason for releasing a demo. I could understand if he was trying not to spoil what was coming up, but his excuse is that the time put into making the demo and presenting it would take away time from making the game and it'd "never get released". I'd MAYBE buy this reason if it wasn't for the fact that he releases a god damn 10 minute, well edited youtube video every couple of weeks and then proceeds to freak the fuck out on people who don't careful read every inch of his youtube profile before asking a question, even when posed in a manner that doesn't relate to the information listed within. It's not so much the fact that he's yet to release a demo, it's how he treats his fans that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention the fact that it's made in flash makes me question if it'll be as good as advertised. Even the Megaman "replica' flashes don't play properly and are made by people with a real reputation in the flash community, versus this guy who's only claim to fame is a bunch of videos of him playing his own flash game, but not the slightest example of his supposed talents on his entire website. Everything on the entire site is a place holder and frankly, it makes me woefully question if the game is even worth the time it took me to write this post. Now again, this is a website over 4 years old. All I'm saying is there's something SERIOUSLY wrong when you start competing with Sonic Robo Blast 2 in terms of dev time and have not released a damn thing other than videos of you playing your own game, when you've got a list of like, 20 team members all supposedly helping to make the game, nor have even made a website that's remotely passable AND throw a giant temper tantrum anytime someone asks a question, flying off the handle as if they'd called you a giant flaming super faggot or something. Hate to tell you this but MMX:Corrupted is probably going to suck. For one it's a flash game, so it can't be all that great. The programmer/creator of it is also a giant douchebag who screams at people for little reason. That and the fact that it's probably never ever ever going to be released and how over powered all the crap in it is, it's not likely to be all that great. Some people think the game is an elaborate hoax at this point because it's been in dev for like, 3 years and not a single demo has been posted. Many think it's just a collection of flash animations using sprites and that there is no actual game. I think there probably is a game but frankly, I'm not looking forward to it. Believe me, I wanted it to be legit and it LOOKS cool, but there's a decent amount of evidence saying other wise. That and it's creator really is a total asshole so...

That said, let this be a bit of a warning to everyone. Always be cautious of where you get your graphics from, you never know if their source is really legitimate or not. You might end up stealing someone else's work without even realizing it, so watch out! In this case that's not 100% the case for some of the graphics but it's still something to consider. Just because it's up on a site somewhere doesn't mean it was intended for free use. SFGHQ itself tries to prevent our own catalog of sprites and graphics from having illegitimately acquired works, but it's entirely possible that there's a few even on our own site that may have been lifted from someone else without their permission and we don't even know it ourselves! The best way to protect yourself is to make sure you keep some sort of record of where your graphics came from, so at the very least if you get accused of stealing, you can explain you did so unknowingly by using graphics from site "XYZ" thinking they were for public use.
