  1. Hey, your game looks awesome... I'll be playing that one early on... In the meantime, I need to finish my SAGE Game review script... I also posted in the Scirra boards, if anyone is over there and can attract attention to it... Be my guest...
  2. Oooh... iTouch... I'll be sure to yoink my brother's and try it on it... (and I still need to get a cycloDS card...) SAGE gets more awesome every day...
  3. I'd rather see this tried, and failed than it not be tried at all. The only real way to know if something will work or not is to test it. If it fails, oh well, move on. If parts of it work and seem useful, then this experiment will be worthwhile...
  4. This looks interesting... I'll try running it once I get home...
  5. Geez, that gave me bad SFGHQ thread memories..
  6. Sweet!! Secret expo secrets!! It's like E3 all over again, minus the "Oooohh Puppies!!!" On a side note... Thanks to the new deadline I just might be able to recreate enough of "Rollout: Tentative Title" to at least show my face at SAGE with something fresh (since most of the stages are drawn out on paper anyway), along with posting a year old but tweaked Sonic's Vacation demo... (and remind everyone to take regular backups, or don't do excessive torrents on your main HDD...)
  7. Well, if you go with midis' you can always try to find someone to patch them and use high quality patches and convert them to mp3. Kinda like what I did with a sky chase midi. I had it use a nice sounding sax and it really improved the sound... Problem is, it's tricky to find good sounding guitar patches, unless you buy/get one of East West Quantum Leap's stuff... http://www.eastwestsamples.com/details.php?cd_index=1032 or http://www.eastwestsamples.com/details.php?cd_index=1059 Yes, those tracks pretty much were converted from midi... Problem is, it's hard to find good free stuff... Midis could work... at least starting with XP midis are played using MS synthesizer and sound the same on all PCs... Your other alternative is looking for some creative commons music like from here http://jamendo.com'> http://jamendo.com where you can pretty much use it for whatever you want, based on the license... Most of them is just use it but give credit...
  8. Don't worry Shadix... I found their real faces... Cyber Rat 101 on his bichin' Segue! Dimension Warped - Awwwww...
  9. Sonic and the attack of the killer chili dogs... Collect the 4 chaos emeralds in your quest to defeat Chili king! I'd soooo play that...
  10. Oh you will be... There are some stuff that's going to be shown that wasn't really hyped and posted here, but I think will be great...
  11. I see SAGE advertising everywhere... I wouldn't be surprised if we get even closer to the 10k unique visitor mark...
  12. O_O I wish I had that kind of time on my hands...
  13. Puzz was fun.. It was part of the Winter 07 contest which... well... Puzz was awesome!
  14. Your freewebs site is pretty nice... If you want, we could base your booth off of it, unless you really like the templates I threw... I mean spent a lot of time working on...
  15. The main reason we'd be careful with freewebs is that SAGE normally gets a ridiculous amount of traffic. Even with downloads offsite... You wouldn't want your booth to become inaccessible, especially if your game becomes super popular... I'm not sure how their bandwidth limits are now, but be sure to keep an eye on it... SAGE gets thousands of hits... And those past stats were only unique visitors... There are some who visit multiple times especially if they like your stuff... Does the 4shared account have one of those download timer thingies? If it does, then you could just use my mirror offer as the main download. It's a more clean way of doing it...
  16. As stated, I'll be offering hosting for whatever you need for SAGE, including as a mirror for your games. Currently, I have 3 templates ready (or nearly ready) for you to use with more to come hopefully within the next week... If you would like one of these templates whether or not you want to use my hosting, just contact me via PM, email, or aim, or post it here. You don't have to use the templates, as you get full FTP access... ssbfalcon at gmail dot com You'll get all the space you need. I can literally give 500MB per person if necessary... And you'll get a subdomain: yourchoiceofname.pnmhq.com and full FTP access... So... templates so far - Keep in mind the first one is not complete (to my satisfaction anyway): http://pnmhq.com/ssb/SAGE - This one features a dynamic gallery system. All you have to do is put your images in a folder and the booth takes care of the rest. This one is a bit more complicated to edit, but it's quite stylish... There will be an alternate version using a coverflow like image gallery coming soon. Ask for that if you want it when you sign up for hosting... http://pnmhq.com/ssb/SAGE2 - Simple, easy to edit template. Two color schemes currently: Deep Blue and Shadow the Hedgehog. But it's a very easy to edit template... Image gallery will be dynamic as well, and will also have a Coverflow gallery option. All templates I create will be XHTML 1.0 Valid and CSS 2.1 Valid, and tested on IE, Opera, Safari, Firefox, and Konqueror. If you have any questions or need any help with anything, Just send me a message...

  18. Oh comon... I use it to send emails without the cost of data transfer, which I decided to get rid of to fund more... social activites...
  19. Yeah, they're pretty slick... But I'm not sure if I'd be able to text as fast as I can on my Moto Q... I tried on my Brother's iTouch and it just wasn't working for me (I posted on these boards not too long ago with it...) Problem is, I don't think even half of the features that the iPhone has (and doesn't have) would be useful to me at all... (And I don't think a Genesis emulator on the iPhone would be as nice as the one on the Moto Q or other phones with buttons...) Still, nice phone... But will I have to turn into one of those "I'm going to hold my iPhone out and use it underground to try to get subway directions..." to fit the demographic? Damn tourists... At least they don't know about the awesome pizza shop hidden inside the Empire State Building...
  20. Spike, I'll go as far as to say that it shouldn't really be a concern... The main problem we were having was that we don't really see any content at all. Purely original or not... Basically, what I'm saying, you should have shown this when you guys had something a bit more to show. I know it can be exciting, but waiting a bit longer to show off stuff rather than saying essentially 'we have awesome stuff, but you can't see it yet unitil it's ready' would have been a lot better...
  21. No... we haven't... And that's the problem... For a community project, it's pretty locked up and hidden... It should be more public and visible, so that people do see the project, see some of these contributions and current status, get more interested, etc... You guys may see the super awesome stuff that the project is made of. We see a few pieces of artwork, most of which is temporary...
  22. Isn't that just basic marketing? I mean, with so many products out there you do have to make yours stand out... Unless you're Apple, where all they have to do is put an iPod in a paper bag and have an apple logo on it... But they make nice boxes anyway...
