  1. Klik & Play games are indeed 16-bit applications, and 16-bit app support is not included in 64-bit versions of Windows because it'd be like an onion of bizzare code (WOW64 emulating 32-bit Windows to run NTVDM emulating 16-bit MS-DOS running fake Windows 3.1 running the game...) To play old KnP games without resorting to VirtualPC or VMWare to virtualize a 32-bit or 16-bit Windows installation, open the .GAM file in TGF, CnC, or MMFE. Now you can play the game with minimal errors! (You could try MMF2 or CF2.5, but it might break violently. YMMV)
  2. Well, if you have $49 to spare, you can upgrade your copy of MMF2 to Fusion 2.5 here. All you need handy is your MMF2 serial and a little patience, since upgrades are processed by one guy :V
  3. Okay, I replaced the extensions in the package with copies directly from my MMF2 and CF2.5 installs. I know these work, because I use them myself to develop Delta. Please redownload from the links in the release thread.
  4. Out of date extensions do cause that. Make sure you drag and drop the "Data" and "Extensions" folders inside "Dependencies" into your MMF2 installation folder (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Multimedia Fusion 2\) as these should be the latest versions of the extensions for MMF2.
  5. Install the latest version of Direct X? Get the updater here
  6. The HWA version of MMF2 was a separate build that requires a legit serial, and allowed for using direct graphics card access for hardware acceleration (hence the name). This build is defunct because the functionality has been rolled into the latest version of MMF2, so make sure you go to Help -> Check for Update and download the latest version (R257.12)
  7. Ninja Lib 1. The song is Fang's (Nack the Weasel) theme from Sonic The Fighters.
  8. Hey they're better than they were before
  9. Homing attack makes everything distorted looking for like, a single frame. Strange.
  10. Repeating this. Please click the link and tell me what it says.
  11. Here's my question: why do you need MMF2 Developer to create a fangame? You really only need Standard, as Developer is more oriented torwards application development. Also, why not upgrade to Fusion 2.5? Fill out an upgrade request and upgrade to Fusion 2.5 for very cheap. And, you can still keep your copy of MMF2 and use it alongside F2.5
  12. Here's the downloads page for the Bonus Packs. Make sure you select the proper version when installing. Also, how would you re-purchase MMF2 if MMF2 is discontinued in favor of Fusion 2.5? o.O Or the fact that if your MMF2 install is broken, you can just reinstall using your serial number? O.o
  13. After Party Special is out! It's a minor update to 1.4.3 that fixes two last bugs and adds a couple of new things!
  14. After all these years, all I can say is: as long as you're able to make what you want, and are having fun doing it, then you're using the right tools.
  15. Fixed on my end now, and I also got some new content from Azu that I'd like to publish as well, but there are two things I really want to add in to make things more flexible... maybe I can knock out an update by tonight, it won't be 1.4.4 but 1.4.3 redux or something
  16. Yes it is. You need to make sure extensions are properly installed. If you're installing extensions from the release package, make sure you copy the folders Data and Extensions as-is into C:\Program Files (x86)\Clickteam Fusion 2.5 You can also use the built-in Extension Manager to update and reinstall extensions. Remember to click "Refresh" to load up the most recent listing of extensions!
  17. Works fine for me. Are you sure your extensions are all up to date? Did you make sure to install the latest version of Fusion 2.5? Interface and post-processing methods -> [ME] Music Engine -> [ME] Cache
  18. In (whatever the ice level is, the name slips me at the moment), during the area with the reverse gondola gimmicks, near the top I fell off the platform and went back down... but fell so fast that I broke collision detection. And when I went past the bottom boundary of the level... I did not die. Even Sonic CD has this feature enabled in all levels as a failsafe, despite only having one bottomless pit in the entire game (Metallic Madness Act 3). Where is your QA team?!
  19. Alright, after some testing, yeah you guys are right. Part of it is probably due to Worlds "intoxication", since I've been doing a loooot of testing for the new Delta release. But I think most of it is due to the keyboard controls; with a directional pad I can roll my thumb from forward to down, which is probably where I got this notion from. You can't roll your finger on the arrow keys of a keyboard. And I don't know if I can use a gamepad in Time Twisted without an external application like xpadder.
  20. I'm having a difficult time with this game, because rolling is broken. You can't roll if you're holding forward, like you can in all the other Sonic games :|
  21. 1.4.3 is released! See the start of the thread for downloads and changelogs. FYI, this download is different than the SAGE one, because this doesn't have a prebuilt EXE included. That thing inflated file size a bit.
  22. Alternative means of doing water ripping: Perspective Object. It can create the water ripple effect you are looking for. Just make sure it is the same size as the water object, and your code keeps it positioned directly over the water object.
